We stayed 4 years earlier as the Kemosabe, and the facilities have improved tremendously. The wifi was good and the sites are better defined.

Nice place, very clean showers and bathrooms. Friendly owners.

New name New Ownership

This campground is now called Sunrise Ridge. It is remodeled, has nice sites with elec, water, sewer, showers. Check it out online.

Quiet During Covid

We made an impromptu stop in Hot Springs and found this campground last minute. We spoke with the owner, Debby, and she informed us that due to Covid, the shower house and toilets were closed and so our popup had to be self contained. When we arrived we were to pick a spot, fill out an envelope, include cash or check for payment, and drop it in the door slot. Easy enough. The site we chose was level and had 30 amp electric and water. Before we left we just dumped in a site with sewer. It was quiet and clean and for the price I would stay there again.

People’s Opinions Are Varied

We stayed here during the 4th of July weekend which is horribly busy for RV parks. Many we called had no sites. We called here and did indeed speak with a very nice woman who said to come on in! The price with the GoodSam discount can’t be beat! The site was gravel. We leveled just fine. There are only 30 amp sites, but we made it work. Just make sure you turn into the appropriate entrance. They also have storage facilities on site and we turned before the main entrance and went over some major bumps that could have been avoided. Fill out the registration card with payment and drop it in the door slot! It’s so convenient to down town Hot Springs. The sites were mowed and maintained. We saw other campers but they stayed for only one night. We stayed for 4! The mountain backdrop is beautiful and it was peaceful but felt safe! We had a great stay. Check out the Vault for breakfast and late night drinks! Also look at TripAdvisor for the cascade falls! Hot Springs was wonderful!

Agree with previous review but if you are just looking for a place to park your rv at about half the cost of others nearby then this is the place. Not fancy but less than $25 per night for full 30a hookups. Our site wasn't far from level. No wi fi, no tv reception.

No 50 amp. Sites not close to level. Hookups are too far away from site. Poor excuse for a RV park. Also if you call do not expect to speak to a person. Check in is all on you. No human to be found, grab an envelope and fill in your info then go try to find a site that isn't too far off level.
