Nice setting in the pines. Our site not very level. If it rains expect mud and mud puddles. Rained and snowed while we were there, our site was a big mud puddle. If not for mud would give 5 stars.

Blackhills Visit
Clean and quiet KOA close to attractions. Nice amenities. Pool, small dog park, laundry facilities and store.
Also advertised rec room, breakfast and playground which we did not use so I can’t speak for that.
Showers/bathrooms we clean. 4 washers and 4 dryers, kind of expensive at $2.00 per load to wash and $2.00-2.50 to dry.
Staff was very friendly and offered up suggestions on where to go for day trips.
Close to Mt Rushmore, Crazyhorse, HotSprings, Custer State Park, Wild horses, Wind Cave, Mammoth site, fishing, hiking, swimming and so much more.

We Loved This Place
The staff and sites were great. They escorted us to site and when it was evident we were not level, Dave pulled out a nice 2"x8" 3 tier leveler and leveled our trailer in no time. The staff truly was great n the site so nice. I would stay here again.

Nice clean campground. Friendly host and staff. Good location for exploring the Black Hills. A little too far for Sturgis, but there is plenty to see close by. Would like to see more gravel in the spaces and a little more level sites. Will return.

Great place! Great, friendly staff! Cleanest bathroom I have seen at a campground in years! Fun play area my kids enjoyed for the short time we had to spend there. Got there after dark& left early, but enjoyed the rabbits hopping all around the site! Reasonable $ for a KOA

Buyer beware: This park is very neat and well taken care of. The restrooms and showers are some of the best I've seen. Even the location was just what I was looking for,but.... When I wanted to shorten my stay by one day the staff said they could not refund the money for that day(Aprox. $50). KOA policy they said. If this is true then KOA has a policy of theft. They got me once , never again.

Great Amenities
This was our first RV trip and first RV park. It was clean and had a nice pool for my kids. The hookups were easy and the staff was friendly. I would recommend this park to anyone.

Unlevel!
This could be a really nice park, lots of trees, great location and plenty of space between sites. In fact some of the trees need pruning to get your rig into the site. The major problem throughout the park is leveling. Have plenty of blocks to place under your levelers. We actually could not level in one of the sites even tho we were up so far the step was way up in the air- and still not level. We did move to a different site but the bubble was still way in the back. You get my point, if they would just bring in an excavator to level the sites, this would be awesome. The water here is great, the wifi is super, nice pool, etc.
