Horsehead CG

Beautiful campground with some large sites and mature trees. Quiet this time of year. The lake level is starting to come up so good kayaking and fishing. Great bike trail.

Nice Park

Only electrical but very nice place, showers were clean and water warm. Camp host was great. Price was good we paid like $109 for 4 nights. Great walking trails. Would definitely stay there again.

Free Disperse Sites Available

They're about 12 free dispersed sites just past the boat ramp at 43.2987842, -103.4452593. easy water access, fire pit, Pit toilet. No shade except for one spot down by the toilet which is essentially on the water. Some trash from local partiers but not too bad. Pretty flat and not a lot of trees, does not look like the black hills but probably a decent place if you want to drive an hour and a half for day trips.

Great state park. Campgrounds are some of the best. Nicely spaced, very clean bathroom and showers. We want to go back as soon as we can.
