Primitive - For Backpackers Only

This is a small backpacking campground on the Continental Divide Trail appoximately 10 miles from the road crossing just NW of Old Faithfull. It is on a small high mountain lake. Beautiful setting, but no services. It is high, and gets cold at night. Bear country. The 1 site note is advisory only, there is room for several tents. This is in the park, and I think will require a wilderness permit. We stayed 1 night in early October during a south to north transit of the park on the CD Trail.
