What's Great And What's Not
Yellowstone is very large and Grant is a huge area, not close to the main attractions. The park is the attraction, the camping is meant to provide a place to stay.
Nearby store and gas station well stocked and you will find necessary items. Bathrooms kept amazingly clean. Firepits, tables, shady, quiet.
Showers closed for Covid-19. Difficult to get the rig in and out of tight spaces. Had to run generator. Bring flashlights, patience and a small saw for branches.
This is the wilderness, not the city. Enjoy the moment and make some memories. Hot summer days and very cold nights.

Eh
Grant was a fine campground. I wish we stayed at Canyon. Grant is just so far away from everything else in the park that it wasn’t really worth it. We went in the summer and the mosquitos were really bad. So much that I didn’t want to spend much time outside my tent there.
Negatives aside, the bathrooms are clean, the showers come with your camping fee and have hot water and the laundry room is big. The staff is very friendly, helpful and they do a great job.

Friendly and clean, generally quiet at night. Easy short walk to lake side. Easy in and out with thirty foot class C. Dump and potable water available. Would stay again!

Neat Campground
Very friendly, very clean. Plenty of showers and a spacious laundry room. Close proximity to the West Thumb Geyser Basin which is a plus and a must see if you stay here. Hiking and biking trails were fun. 7/12-715/16. I would probably stay here again.
