A Very Goodplace To Overnight
We stayed there for 3 nights during our spring northbound migration in 2019, and then again to de-winterize the rig during our southbound fall migration this fall.
Very friendly staff, and nice clean park. A little too close to the I-81, but after a while it died down and we were able to get a good night sleep. We recommand it.

Very nice and clean campground. Staff was very friendly. Stayed here for three nights. Interstate 81 was close, but didn’t mind the traffic noise.

This Was A Great Labor Day Stay
This camp site is clean and staff is awesome. They made us feel welcomed from the first phone call we made to reserve a spot. We can’t wait to come back next year. You want be disappointed ,I promise you.

Good Overnight Stop
Based on the reviews I expected to pull into a brand new campground with few amenities and no trees. For a new campground (2020) it is quite nice with some mature trees that are interspersed with new landscaping. With a big rig towing (42’) It was very easy to get to off the highway, a little tight to maneuver into our site, but doable. Over the years, we have stayed at all of the campgrounds in this area of Virginia and I liked this enough that I would stay here again.

There are two Shenandoah Valley Campground places this one near Mt. Jackson has a pool, not many trees but is functional and beautifully maintained. Bathhouse clean and now locked to all but guests. No bunnies, no waterfall...that’s further south near Verona. I like staying here but may go for bunnies on the way back.

Great Stay
This is a newer campground (2020) and is super small and cute and cozy. I love the small and friendly nature of this campground. Sites are gravel, wide, level, and very easy to get in and out of. We barely had to level out the camper. The highway noise was kind of loud but once I fell asleep it didn’t wake me up. Close to a lot of attractions and friendly staff that helped us with directions to the national park. We return and would bring friends!

Had A Nice Stay.
Great spot just off the highway for an over night. . Cute little camp ground with a couple cabins, nice pool, pull throughs, and back ins. Friendly staff and cute office with a few things to purchase. Dog walk for pets. Some horseshoe rings to play games. Close to the caverns. Road noise not a problem just leave on fan.

Just Ok
I would've gone to 1 star but they were nice, the sites were clean, and parking was level. The STINK from the chicken plant or what ever it was stuck in my sinuses for a week.

Peaceful Night
Only 1 other rig for the night. Fairly quiet being so close to the highway. Sweet person running the office. Great for a nights stay.

Clean And Neat
Saw some negative reviews and didn’t understand them. Road noise not an issue as we kept the overhead fan on. The pool was the cleanest I’ve ever seen. Baths great and site spotless. Will definitely go back as we travel that drive quite often.

Quick Stop
We called and they had a site open. We stayed for a night and enjoyed our self’s.
We went to the Caverns up the road and had a blast.
Will recommend and hope to come back sometime soon

Nice enough space but not large & will be better when trees grow. Well equipped camp store with short order food. Nice pool but bathrooms could be cleaner.

Stayed overnight on way to NJ. Clean campground. Nice long pull thru spots, just need to be as little more level. Reasonable priced. Friendly and helpful staff.

Clean & Friendly
New campground with top notch facilities. Clean, temp-controlled showers with plenty of hot water. Sparkling clean pool. Full service, level sites. Playground for kiddies. Friendly owners. Close to I-81 so easy on-off. Highway noise didn't bother us at all.

Shenandoah Valley Campground
Easy on/off access to I-81. Very clean campground. Pool was sparkling clean. There is a small playground area for young kids. Bathrooms/Shower facilities also in top notch shape. Owners very friendly. They have a small cafe with hamburgers, hot dogs, etc. You can also order from nearby Italian place that will deliver.
Is very close to interstate so you can hear traffic at night but it did not affect our sleep. It is a little on the high side price wise.
Would stay overnight again.

New, Comfortable
This new campground is right off of I 81. Same exit as Shenandoah Caverns. Facilities are all very well kept, and these are the nicest bath house we've ever seen. Pool clean and sparkling, too. Set in a rural area but plenty of shops, gas, etc.
Great wifi and cable. Full Verizon 4G service.
Only down side is road noise from interstate.
