Great Spot!
We love this camp ground. Staff is friendly, they deliver pizza and fire wood to your site. There is a pool, games, playground, small pond, hay ride and October has special events for the fall. They escort you to your site and even assist you in parking if you need it. Some sites are level, others require some extra work parking. But we love this campground. This is now our third trip here. Definitely a wonderful place!

Will come again!!!
I made the reservation 1 day before our arrival for a 1 night stay while passing thru. They easily accomodated us, and were only 3 miles from I-81. Very pleasant staff, from check in, to escort to our site, (which was a good size site). We had been on the road traveling for over 7 hours, and they had a pizza service on the campgrounds, FOR A WIN!!!!! But the item that impressed us the most was the dog bath! If anyone has travel long distances with a dog you would know what a treat this was. KUDOS on it ALL!!! :D

Secluded and Quiet
Stopped here for a week. Beautiful, secluded and quiet. We arrived early but the site was ready. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Camp store was well stocked. Bathrooms and showers were a bit old, but clean. Spacious site. Travel Kitty especially liked the variety of birds and wildlife outside his window!

Good Spot!
We only spent one night here on our way down to FL at the end of Feb, but we want to return. Nice wooded lots and pleasant owners. We had no issues manuevering our Airstream through a pull through site. The road in was a bit narrow and twisty but we had no problems driving in or out. Not far from 81.

Nice Campground
Clean quite campground in the woods. They make and deliver pizzas to your site as well as ice and firewood. Very friendly helpful staff. Only con is lack of activities at campground because there is nothing to do close by there. If your looking for a place to rest with great staff this is it

Campfire And Pizza
Beautiful wooded campsite, campfire in natural stone firepit, AND pizza delivery to your site! Plus pool, fishing pond and playground for the kiddos. Doesn't get much better than this. Highly recommend.

First Stop On Our Summer Trip
This KOA was our first stop on our summer trip to Texas! I have to say it set the standard high for any campground we stop at now! Sitting back in the woods you get that real camping feeling you don’t find often anymore! Usually campgrounds are just parking lots so when came across this gem we jumped at the chance to stay! The pricing is set perfect! The amenities were fantastic and clean. The owners and employees were exactly what you would expect in the gateway of southern hospitality! We will be returning and recommending this KOA to anyone traveling through the Shenandoah Valley!

Nice, But Very Overpriced
We arrived late at night and picked a spot based on what was shown as available on their late arrivals board. Online, the prices show $38 to $60 a night. So I was so disappointed that the sign at registration says $65 per night. I waited to register until the morning, hoping to get some clarification. We paid $57 for one night. That's awfully pricey. The guy in the gift shop was friendly. There was a fun little playground for my son. Beautiful, scenic road to the campground. We would probably pass on staying here again for the expensive rate.

Back For Our Second Visit
This is one of our favorite parks. The road to the park has recently been paved and slightly widened. It's still a narrow road, but completely doable in our 40ft diesel pusher with toad, and it's a beautiful scenic 3 miles. We met a large truck coming the other way and had room to pull over and let him pass. There are some tight turns within the park, so remove your toad at the gate. We were guided to the site. Plenty of room in the site. The park is well maintained, wooded, quiet, and in a beautiful area with lots to see and do. The staff is friendly and the office was open until 7 on weeknights and 8 on weekends. They make pizza in the store and deliver to your site! We'll be back.

Difficult To Get To
Nice campground. Long pull through with properly placed utilities. I didn't have to unhook the tow. Utilities good. Cable good. Decent space between sites, but a little dusty. The wifi signal was strong, but no internet. Bummer. The problem is getting here. A few miles on a narrow 2 lane road with no room to pull over if you meet another big rig. Because of the lack of wifi, the narrow road and the high price, I probably wouldn't stay again if it was only for one night.

Nice Campground In Beautiful Area
It's a bit tight, may be hard to get in and out of some sites. But nice family atmosphere, location is great, beautiful area! Staff is helpful, however closes up shop too early. With late arrival at 8.30 was a bit hard to locate the site, guidance would be nice.
