Good Park For Kids
Lots of sites. Lots of tall pine trees to interfere with satellite reception. Mostly gravel roads. Concrete pads cost more and aren’t necessarily level. Kids run wild all around the park. Senior citizens, pick another park!

Don't Do It
We came here when the state switched to phase 2 during covid. While we understand there are restrictions put on by the county and state we felt this park could have had more distance activities. Drive by events with characters were done at full speed where they didn't even wave to our extremely excited 4 children who waited outside to catch a glimpse of them. When I contacted them via Facebook they told me "sorry you missed us". I have no reason to lie about a character drive by. I follow several other Jellystone parks in the area and they had so many more events and activities. The mini golf area needed to be cleaned and updated as it was the only attraction open. This was our 1st ever camping trip in our trailer and thought it was disappointing. If your looking to camp at a basic park at a higher price point then most other parks this might suite you. Even if the water park was open there's no way it could accomidate all the site they have. Go camp at KOA for half the price.

Great Rainy Day Hangout
Clean, reasonable prices, no internet but they are honest about it. Super convenient to the park.

Unreliable
Do NOT depend on them for your getaway. We booked our cabin months in advance; however, we received a phone call within hours of our departure telling us our cabin had severe maintenance issues. They continued to tell us no other accommodations on the premises were available for the weekend. Furthermore, the cabin required a “specialist” who couldn’t fix the issues until the following week. This was a long weekend vacation for us, and our three-year-old was counting down the days until our departure. Now we are having to scramble to try to find another place to go for the weekend at the last minute when all other places are booked full. They are giving us a full refund, but they didn’t offer to look into other accommodations for us to stay in the area. We will not be giving them our business ever again, and we are thinking about canceling our stay at another location in the fall. To say we are frustrated and disappointed is an understatement.

Great Find
We stayed a week at this jellystone in June. Check in was seenless and staff guided you by golf cart to your site. We stayed on pull through fhu sites. they were pretty well leveled and a good size for a private campground. Kids loved the water slides, pools (3 of them) putt putt, gem mining, jumping pillows, and movies at the amphitheater. we didn't get to try out the laser tag because of the rain but did enjoy the arcade. Bath houses and facilities were well maintained and clean. It is a very busy campground. Multiple times during the week we saw a Luray sheriff patrolling the campground, she even stopped to chat with our kiddos about police being there to help and give them stickers. Great location for visiting the national park. Only complaint was the wifi was non exsistant. We needed to work on vacation so we ended up having using our phone as a hot spot. when we questioned this with the staff they told us it works when it wants to and that there's disclaimer on the website.

You can see this campground reinvest in its facilities. Many newer cabins, 2 new water slides, and nice rec center. The staff is friendly and helpful. There are NO seasonal sites, so the they can focus on YOUR satisfaction

Nice campground and a stone's throw from the national park. Luray area has lots to see and do. Luray Caverns are a must. The best on the East coast. Great mountain view from the campground.

Expensive But Good For Families
Expensive but great for families and the kids had a lot of fun. Great setting in the mountains yet close enough to town and stores if needed. Already have another stay planned.

Overpriced
This place is way overpriced. Also, I don't understand why at the time that I made my reservation, they didn't tell me all the water attractions were closed for the season. How does it make sense to charge $120 a night, when the pool, splash pad, and water slide are closed. Also, I stayed in spot #3 and the cable connection was on the wrong side of the pull through spot and was to far away to hook up to. And one more thing, the wifi was horrible and basically didn't work.

Lots Of Things To Do!
Lots of things to do at this site. Splash pad, pool, water slide, laser tag etc... It's $100 or more a night for full hook ups for campers. They have 50 & 30 amp outlets. They have all kinds of events going on through the day and evening. Pretty descent size store, you can also rent a golf cart. Very nice place, my three year old and Nike year old had a ton of fun!
