Very Small Sights

If you're just looking for a place to hang your hat, then maybe this is it. Sights are very small with picnic table and fire ring but you are so close together a fire isn't possible. The owners were friendly.. Its within walking or biking distance to the Virginia Creeper Trail and downtown. We ate pizza at The Grill restaurant which was within walking distance, had good service, it was clean and delicious pizza.

Corona Isolation Stay

I could not have picked a better place for my 5 week safety stay. The longest I’ve ever stayed at one campsite. Steward was the best and most flexible host. The campsite was beautiful all the sites are on the river. The fishing on the river was great rainbow and brown trout were biting. The WiFi was 5 stars. Fire wood provided. A very friendly and enjoyable stay. Damascus although was shut down is a gorgeous town. No doubt I will return to this campsite. Thanks laurel Creek Campground.
