Spent two nights here. The babbling creek was just what I needed to finally get some sleep. Two bath houses running water and flush toilets. Primitive sites with tent pad table and fire ring. Some of the best sites are walk in. I'm a van lifer as well as long distance hiker/kayaker and had mentioned that to the hosts staying at the entrance. Him and his wife showed up at our campsite with maps and leaflets regarding trails in the area. NEVER have I met such wonderful camp hosts. 5+stars for the camp hosts for sure. Very quiet and peaceful on the weekdays. Rumors are that it gets busy in the peak season and weekends and I can see why. No bells and whistles just naturally relaxing. Many trails for the hikers including the Appalachian trail and multiple waterfall hikes for the hardcore hikers. Road in is paved.

Primitive
This is a heavily wooded campground With large sites. Campground has no electricity and in fact is miles away from the nearest power. It sits nestled deep in a Valley alongside hurricane Creek. Lots of forest service roads and trails to explore nearby.
