Gem Of A Camp
Paved camping, very clean, large lots and shade.
Half the lots require baking in uphill! You might want to ask for a flat lot.
Very close to downtown for the tourist activities.

Beautiful spot on the lake. Well kept grounds, but bathroom facilities need upgrading. $13 a night with Senior pass for a waterfront site with water and electric, great deal!

Beautiful Park
Beautiful park overlooking Lake Waco. Well maintained. Staff friendly and helpful. Road noise from highway but not terrible, suggest sites to south of entrance gate for quieter stay.

Great Place To Stay!
We planned one night and due to weather ahead stayed for 2, but glad we did! Great campground and well maintained. Only 13 min drive into Waco where we visited the Silos Baking Co., Magnolia Table, and the Magnolia Press owned by chip and Joanna Gaines who have the fixer upper show. Would definitely recommend staying here.

First visit here. Park personnel were helpful and nice. Park was well maintained and clean. Planned on one night but stayed for two. There is road noise but didn’t bother us. Will be back for a longer stay.

Nice Campground
Highway noise, but for the price it was worth the annoyance. In the future site 18 will be the site of our choice because it has full hook ups and is very private. We will certainly stay again.

Nice
Nice little campground. Other than the older bathrooms and traffic from the highway it’s a nice and clean campground. Nice paved sites with great cover. Would stay again.

Great Site, fair facilities
The location is great, right at the lake and close to the city. We’ve been there off season so very quiet. The individual sites are even and have water and electricity. The facilities building is ok. Hot water, also in winter, fairly warm and clean. Just don’t expect five stars.

Fantastic
The cleanest and nicest park that I have seen in a long while. Lots of shade and sites not totally sardined. New blacktop but restrooms are a little older but clean. There are several double sites with duel hookups. One morning they came around and powered sprayed or cleaned all of the tables. Lots to see and do in Waco.

Beautiful.
Water is just a short walk from any of the sites. Sites are very well shaded and large with nice clean tables. Sites 9 and 10 would be difficult to back a camper into without 4wd due to the incline approaching the site. No problem with 4x4.

Nice Quiet Clean Park
Park is really clean including bathrooms and showers with heat. Small playground for kids with new looking equipment. No swimming area. The spots on the outside of the loop have full hook up the ones on the inside of the loop only have water. If they were all full hookups then would have given 5 stars. Park host super nice as well.

Clean, Beautiful, Friendly, And Quiet
The lake is just a hop, skip, and jump from any site. Beautiful sunset over the lake. The place was clean. People were freindly. We reserved the last RV spot on a Friday evening for the same night using recreation.gov. Got a great quiet nite of sleep.
