Find an Alternative Site to Dump

The people at the front gate will let you pull into an available full hook up to dump because it's true the dump valve is higher than Airstream outlet. It's a funny test of character!

Very Nice, No Noise

Huge site, full hook up. Stayed at site #62 overnight. What a nice find. Don't expect the best showers or bathrooms but that is why you use your own. Big lake surrounded us. Near regional airport and Blackhawk helicopter site. 3 Blackhawks were flying around and they waived to my son. That was cool.

Great Stay (as Always)

COEs are some of our favorite campgrounds! We love site 17. Clean, spacious sites...this is our second time visiting, we’ll definitely be back.

Can't Be Beat!

What a great value! Lovely campsites, all level, many with beautiful views of Lake Waco. Lots of space between sites and with covered picnic tables.

Amazing Views

Amazing views. Large sites. Many on the water. It rained most of our 2 days there so didn't get a chance to enjoy the park like we had hoped. When we get back to Waco, we will definitely go back. Only $15 per night as it was half price for us as we are over age 62.

We stayed in rv park in oct. What a nice park great staff at ck in full hook up 50 amp with senior pass 15 dollars per night had great time and will be back again

The park is beautiful and has no airport noise that I was afraid of in the name and description. The only reason it gets a 3 is that they lock the doors at 10pm with no other way into the park- without waking the host and dragging them to unlock the gate. It seems like a safety hazard to have emergency response rely on this and parks around the country have resolved this with key pads. Basically make sure you are back to your site by 10pm or else you are locked out of the park.

Another Great Corps Park

Excellent park. Widely separated paved sites. All roads are paved. Everything is 30 and 50 amp capable. Water pressure is good. Most sites are shaded. A few sites even have sewer. Site #23 is the best, it has it all; fantastic lake view, and a short walk to the well cared for shower building. If that one is not available, get site #33. It is a super long and level back-in with pad for a towed car. Great shade.
