The place is nice and affordable. Got here and the Rangers were super nice and gave me a good spot for 20 bucks. I recommend this place

We stayed here last minute. This was a great little park! Nice showers. Easy walking trails.

Good Potential
This park suffered a lot of damage from 2017's hurricane Harvey. Presently, it's only partially open so, right now, a 3-star rating is most appropriate. Full potential can't be realized until fully restored, and then 4-stars. It is nicely treed, lots of room per site and adequate privacy from neighbors. Will stay again. We were in a 36ft 5th wheel. Rate was $15 with Texas SP pass.

Village Creek SP
Very clean and quite. Nice clean and mostly level RV spots, most are short. Nice well kept hiking trails. Still some flood damage so some trails are closed. There is no park store anymore. It is a small park electric and water only with a dump station. Make reservations if you want to stay here.
