Good Stop Over Choice
Just on our way through and stayed one night. Staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms are immaculate. Wifi worked well for browsing on the iPad. Site was long enough to stay hooked up and was level. Limo to and from the steakhouse is a very nice feature…tip your driver, he deserves it! Close to the Interstate, but noise just a dull roar and didn’t affect our sleep or anything. Would definitely stay again. Paid a winter rate of $55 less Good Sam discount. One thing to note is the water pressure is advertised at 80 psi. Make sure you have a pressure regulator.

Could Be Better
Large park with many amenities listed in other reviews. The utilities for our campsite were poorly located. Pull through, but all hookups at front. If RV pulled through far enough to reach hookups, tow vehicle must be disconnected and picnic table is behind unit. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Easy access from interstate, not much shade. Staff was great, they take you directly to your site. Just did an overnight passing through. Park is currently being expanded.

Nice RV Park
Right off highway. Easy to access. The sites are kind of close. Good for a night's stop. Could hear the highway noise. Nice and helpful staff.

It's got it all . Limo ride to get a good steak dinner staff was the best . Great place definitely stay there again more room for the people with tows didn't have to un hook 10 out of 10 for me .

Great Place
It’s the Big Texas hospitality you get here.. shuttle you to your campsite.. plenty of space.. very friendly workers… didn’t use the pool but looked very nice.. bathrooms & showers clean and roomy. The limo service they offer to the steakhouse is a Must!!! Thank you Texas for a great stay.. and great gas/ fuel prices !

Looks like a GREAT park online, but it’s pretty sketchy when you arrive. Tight spaces, mostly full timers with trashy lots. The night we stayed there, there was a dog that barked outside ALL NIGHT LONG! HOWEVER the staff inside the SUPER cool gift shop were extremely friendly, and helpful!

Wonderful park, Wonderful People,
Stayed just one night, this would be a wonderful park to stay longer! Never been to a park with an indoor pool, what a great amenity! Coded bathrooms were very nice. Didn’t check out laundry. Office has many things to shop! Level pebbled rock sites, spacious. full hookup, each site has a light. Best part steakhouse nearby and they deliver! Great hot food! And the host and hostess were awesome. Informative, they direct you to your site! With Covid they were right on top of it! Sanitized pens, counter, and wore masks! Would definitely recommend and come back again and again! Thank you Steve and Janet!

Good
Good stopover. Indoor pool, nice dog runs, and free limo to the steakhouse. My only complaint is it gets super muddy when it rains. Overall, a good location and helpful staff. Free donuts in the morning at the front office, at least they used to before Coronavirus hit...

Overnighter
1st time at this park, 2nd park we’ve stayed at in Amarillo. Very nice park and friendly staff. Loved the heated indoor pool, sites were level with all the amenities. 3 fenced dog parks. Had the Big Texan deliver to our site for free. Definitely worth a return.

Spent one night while traveling west. Very nice RV Park. Staff was friendly. Facilities were clean. Ordered in from the Big Texan. Food was great. Would stay again. Dog friendly.

Loved It Here
We only stayed for one night but would go back again to stay longer. Very clean, well kept, and a friendly staff. Sites are level and very spacious. Pet friendly with very nice dog parks. They provided a limo ride to the Big Texan Steakhouse & Brewery which we highly recommend.

Nice RV Park
Glad we found a good place to stay after fueling up in Clarendon and all the engine lights went on immediately after. We were able to make it into Amarillo and stayed here for 2 nights while waiting for the Cummins diesel dealer to open on Monday. Only a few hundred yards away. Nice place to stay. Enjoyed the donuts and coffee and good WiFi and cable tv. Nice dog run. Friendly, caring people.

Cheap Fun And Good Food
This RV park is just fun! They have amazing staff, clean facilities, nicely heated pool, spa, and sauna! They offer donuts and coffee in the morning which we didn’t have time to stay for. However we did enjoy the FREE limo ride to the steakhouse and what an entertaining and filling evening it was. I wish we had another day to stay but so grateful we found this place and can check it off our list! They deserve all 5 stars!!

RV Park
We were very happy with the RV park beautiful layout grass for the doggies everyone was very friendly we wanted to go to the big Texan steakhouse and they said that they would bring the limo and pick us right up at our RV and bring us back for free all we have to do was tip the driver food was absolutely delicious we couldn't have asked for a better steak we highly recommend it and we would definitely tell everyone how nice it is and come back again

Fair price for a very nice place. Clean everything. There are burrs near any tree or grassy area that will get in your pet's fur. But it is North Texas and can't be helped. Very nice people working there.

Great place for any amount of days. Accommodating hosts willing to please and friendly. Our site was level with picnic table. Dog parks were well kept and clean. Nice little store. Clean ; restrooms. Offer limo service to Big Tex steakhouse. Next time, we will visit the music venue across street!

Pleasant Surprise
Stayed just one night and didn’t use their facilities due to lack of time. We drove 7 hours from Oklahoma City and we’re going to Colorado Springs the next morning. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Quiet night. We Enjoyed the free shuttle ride to and from the Big Texan Restaurant. Fastest internet connection we’ve experienced. Wish we could have stayed longer. The free coffee and donut on our way out the next day was much appreciated. Will be back again the next time we’re in the area.

Nice Place
We just overnighted here and didn't use any of the amenities but the staff is friendly and helpful; the park is neat and clean and sites are level gravel. Our site (123) had a nice concrete patio with a picnic table and the site was longer than necessary for me not unhooking from our 5th wheel. We will definitely stay here again when in Amarillo. This price was with a Good Sam discount.

Great Overnight With Large Pull Thrus
Super accommodating folks here. Gave us a pull thru since we were just overnighting.
Don’t follow GPS to get I. As it routes you through a neighborhood. Didn’t use any of their amenities but did go to the Big Texan Steak Ranch. Good atmosphere but food was meh.

Nice Park
Called a couple hours ahead to reserve a week, spoke with Joshua, who wasrespectful and said, “yes ma’am”, very polite. Once I arrived I was to follow this man in a golf cart and he had me go through a couple rough sites, then stopped and politely said he’s only been doing this for a couple weeks and it was obvious as he also gave me an incorrect address to receive mail! However, the reason I need a week was to have an address for the VA to send my meds. The day before leaving, I call the office as I did for a couple days about my mail, kept getting..”nothing here”, I knew something was wrong, I called the VA and they traced it to the office on Saturday and it was shown someone signed for it. needless to say I was upset and was told by the VA they would need to get the police involved. I told Josh all this and he called his dad and was told to check mail room with paper advertisements, which he did and wala there it was, Josh said they are having trouble with a mail clerk. Good park!

Amarillo By Morning
We loved this park. The staff is great. They have an indoor pool. Sites are clean. Laundry room had adequate space and amount of washers and dryers. The bathrooms are clean. The shower stalls are HUGE. They have multiple dog runs which were clean and lit at night. The long termers have well kept sites. Sites are level with plenty of space in between. Mail delivery is available. Best place in Amarillo.

Interstate Noise Was Difficult
Wifi was fine, staff were pleasant and helpful, site was level but gravel. Easy access but that comes with a lot of interstate noise. Next to a big area with live music in summer did not affect us but clarify before booking in the summer.

Stayed on our first night of our 3 week trip, and the last night of our trip. The staff was great. Called for a reservation last night, and they still
Had us on file from our last visit., and got our reservation quickly. Someone met us at the office and escorted us to our site. Easy pull thru site. The park is clean and well maintained. The bathrooms and showers are also clean. Didn’t try the pool, but it looked nice and clean. Will always stop here.

Passing Thru
We stopped in for a night and the staff was great. The amentities are great. Didnt get to try the Big Texan even though they have a shuttle to take you there. The Wi-Fi is excellent and the sites are very spacious. We were in a pull thru in the middle of the park. Very little road noise off of the highway. If ever in Amarillo, we'd stay here again.

We’ve stayed here many times and it’s always been a great place. But we were told “The Big Texan” restaurant now owns it. Great shuttle to and from Big Texan restaurant. Everything works good except cable. They give you a “kit “ ?? to hook up. Called #for help...didn’t get any. They do have several air channels from Amarillo. WiFi good. Will still stay overnight on trip to Colorado!! Donuts and coffee before leaving!!

Stayed here on the first night of our 2 month trek. People in office were friendly and helpful. We had some electrical/battery issues with our camper. The office gave us the name of an excellent mechanic. Matt curry at Red rover mobile rv repair. 956-369-9918. He assessed the situation immediately and was able to get us on the road right away. He charged very reasonably, despite the fact that we were over a barrel and would have paid whatever he asked. He was also a veteran - always very pleased when we can do business with those who have served our country.

This park is not dog friendly. They have dog runs, but there are all kinds of stickers as they do not spray for weeds. They do not allow you to put out a dog fence even tho you are in a completely gravel site. Since most RV'ers have dogs and small dogs that will get the sand burrs and corkscrew stickers in their fur, they dont get a good rating from me. Sites are level but all gravel, like an overflow site really. Few trees. Did not use cable as the broadcast TV was fine. WiFi was good. Easy in and out off I-40. Only good for a one night stay. Dusty dirty everywhere in this park.

Great staff upon arrival, quick check in and escourt service to you site. All "P"sites are pull-thru big rig sites. Close to store, office, pool and showers. Clean grounds and we'll maintained, paved road, level sites. Have your own water pressure regulator as they have 70 psi at the sites. Free shuttle to local steak house recommend you try it out. Great on off access to I-40 but this comes with a minimal amount of traffic noise at night.

They provide complementary limo to and from the steak house in a Caddy with long horns on the hood. Also can park here after hours as they provide pay envelopes. No coin machine in the laundry.

Cheep, clean, helpfull, nice spaces, one of the best places to stay.called before opening got a call back, booked my days got in late but i had a space in the box, I payed more at koa and got alot less this is one of the best.. will always stay here if comeing this way

Great Stop!
Only stayed one night but they were very accommodating! They had us shuttled to the big Texan via a limo with big horns on the front! There was coffee and donuts in the morning too! Will be back.

Loved This Place!
Great stop for us on our way to Little Rock, conveniently off the I40. Donuts and coffee in the morning and the shuttle to the Big Texan, we had a huge site right next to the pool/bathrooms. The only downside was the mosquitos, they were terrible, and laundry was a little expensive but we would definitely stop here again!

Very Accommodating Staff
Stayed here several years ago and the park was nearly empty so who would think you need reservation when you arrive at 3 pm. They drove us to the back of the park where they normally put longer term folks but they were using them this night for over nighters. Back in site was very level gravel site and spacious also a little further from the road. Staff was great! Donuts and coffee in the morning which I remembered 30 miles down the road. Close to Walmart.

The Shepherd's First Camping Trip
We were traveling from Illinois to California and stopped for one nite. We are tent camping. We received the best service from the staff and the tent area was large, grassy, and had some shade. We felt kind of small with all the "big" rigs around us but we enjoyed looking at them and talking with them. The kids enjoyed the playground and we're a little disappointed that the pool closed at 9pm. No electric for the tent area, but we overcame that by borrowing it from the maintenance shed nearby. We are tent camping - not roughing it! All in all was a great one nite stand and we will be back.

Big Well Organized With Amenities
These folks have organization down. Large park, definitely call ahead. A bit pricey if you don't take advantage of all their facilities (and there are a lot!). Nice lounge, friendly people, quiet. Recommended.

Decent Place
Some of the staff were pleasant. Once we paid and within minutes wanted to extend our stay, they did not allow us to change to get a weekly rate. Too bad...we stayed in the area another week at another and better location (Ft Amarillo).

Great Stop
We stayed one night on our way to New Mexico. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. Limo picked us up at our site and took us to the Big Texan Steakhouse. The food was good and the kids had a blast! The staff was very friendly! We will be back!

Nice place to stop, but wi-if only available in lobby area. Cable was completely out so would check to see if cable is working before stopping. Limo shuttle, complete with Texas Bullhorn hood ornament, available to Big Texan Restaurant (don't miss this place)

Good place to stay. Friendly office and outdoor staff. 30/50 amp, good water pressure, sewer hook up and optional cable hookup. Far enough from I-40 so noise is not real bad. Swimming pool and spa. Donuts and coffee every morning !!

People were friendly in office. Easy check in. Good long pull thrus. But cable came in a box that my husband (who's good with electronics) couldn't get to work. They advertise wi-fi, but it's only in the office building. Worthless. Everything else worked good. Price ok with Good Sam discount. Ok for 1 nite.
