Nice Palo Duro Option

After back to back days of hard driving, we pulled in late on Sunday evening. We were greeted by the park host at~10:30 PM. He helped us navigate our rig into a spot with all the goodies (including a sewer hookup). Palo Duro was a short drive away which was a great find and beautiful park. We recharged, utilized the free laundry and headed out after our second night. Very quiet campground. There are some folks working out of their RV + several container rental units. The RV spot was pretty quiet as you are well off any major highways. Perfect for us to rest, enjoy the early state park, do some free laundry and cook. Worked nicely for us. Host and owner were both very friendly and checked in multiple times.

We were traveling through to Denver and wanted to stop and see Palo Duro canyon. This place is 20 min away. The park is clean and the owner is super friendly. He was eager to have us and make sure our stay was pleasant. I will def come through here again.
