Really nice Park

Made reservations online, picked premium spot, pulled in the evening, quick setup camp and off to the pool! Pros: premium sites are right up near the pool, kids playground and office full of games with outdoor covered seating. Very well maintained, huge sites, great wifi signal and speed. Cons: bball court, giant checkers, gaga pit, were all ar the opposite end of the campground. Feels like a huge after thought. Its covid time so activities were canceled, so no idea how well they run. Most of the sites hsve no shade and are in full sun, except for the premium sites, which cost a lot more. Overall this campground felt a bit under used, but with Ponchos right next door and the state park not far, i can see why this fells like third place. We will be back. We enjoyed our time here.

Excellent Family Friendly Campgroung

We really enjoyed our stay at Vacation Station near Ludington. Lots of fun activities for the kids. Showers were clean and very nice. Quiet at night. Nice pool and hot tub. Near enough to places to shop and to visit Ludington. One of the best campgrounds we have stayed at.

Great Camping

Staff was very friendly. We stayed during labor day weekend and enjoyed the extra activities they provided. Lots are large and facilities were well maintained. We stayed during the week and was very quiet. We stayed there twice this summer 2019, and will go camping there again.

I booked two lots for memorial weekend for us and our friends and made a note that we wanted them next to each other. We check in and they put us nowhere near each other. When we asked for lots closer together, they didn’t even make an effort to find us something. They gave us some excuse about how people request certain lot numbers and there’s people that come back every year and want certain spots... pretty sure the policy states your reservation guarantees a site TYPE not a specific number. Nice facility but when a place doesn’t even attempt to accommodate a situation like this, we don’t bother coming back.

Good luck getting a campsite next to each other when asking for it.

A Perennial Tradition Now!

We stumbled upon this GEM one year after we couldn't get into the state park. Serendipity is the perfect explanation for it! We are now here for out NINTH year!! Our 4 kids (all still young) beg us to come back all the way from TN! So, we happily oblige since it's our favorite place too! You are close to the state park, beaches, a great town with lots to do, and full amenities that are unmatched by most RV resorts. Plus, they are still quite affordable!

Awesome Campground

Love this place staff great,site's are level,bathrooms very clean,we have stayed there early times and will be back.
