Very Nice Campground
Very nice campground with 4 loops.
National Forest service, so no hookups.
It stays busy in the summer months but the NFS has dispersed sites in the Forest a mile down the road (for free) so don't give up hope if all sites are taken here.
Campground host in the 2nd loop was not very helpful and a little rude but we were told they are new this year.

Great Campground!
This clean wooded campground is walking distance to a Lake Michigan beach. Camp spaces are paved, ample size and spread out, with vegetation between the spaces. There are four campground loops. Two for reservations, and two are first come-first serve. Campers were quiet and courteous. No hookups, community water, very clean pit toilets. Bugs were annoying, black flies still active at the end of June. There was some conflict with the campground host over double-booked reservations. Would definitely come back.

Roughing It
Outstanding campground if you don’t need hookups! National Recreation area so price is great especially if you have the seniors card. I’m fully self contained, 24 foot motorhome but sites could handle much longer units. Very wooded and secluded sites with picnic table and fire pit. Would definitely return!
