Nearly Perfect

This place is pretty awesome! We stayed here a week over the 4th of July. For parking in the grass, our site was nearly level. There were huge maple trees at each end to provide shade. They have a little army of workers constantly picking up and keeping things clean. I think they clean the bathrooms multiple times a day because the bathhouse not by the pool is one of the best around and always spotless. The office/store has plenty of what you may need. Be aware the gate is closed from 11-8am and they mean it. We got back from fireworks around 11:20 and gate was locked and we walked to our site. It was a really busy party place over the 4th, but it wasn’t overly rowdy and everyone adhered to quiet hours which began at 11pm There is so much to do in the area. Pentwater is a great village we visited multiple times with shops, restaurants and Mears SP. Silver Lake SP is within walking distance where there is a beach and the sand dunes. Would definitely return and stay here again!

We Love It

Just booked our third year of going. They have the friendliest staff. Very very clean campground. It’s close to the sand dunes and town. Lots are nice and big. Nice pool, play area for kids, hammocks and sand volleyball. They have a large pavilion for nightly movies and ping pong tables. Just put in a brand new basketball court. They have convenient entrance gates for coming and going. Camp store has all the necessities and then some. Great family campground.

Camping

This is our 3rd year in a row and the longest stay, 9 days. Fell in love with it from day 1. Great staff, things for kids, nightly outdoor movies and great, large lots!

Best Campground Ever

Stayed a week with my family at this place and it's unbelievable. They have a pool and playground for the kids, uber clean restrooms and showers. There is also the camp store where you can buy pretty much anything you need - beer, food, camping equipment, clothes, etc... On top of all of this you have everything else around the area to explore including the dunes, go carts, razor and jeep rentals. The town of Pentwater is only about 10 minutes away and has a great dog beach. This place is definitely worth the stay!!
