Camp sites are well mark, easy layout and level. The showers were hot with excellent pressure and clean. you have 2 spaces one to shower and one to get dressed in and they are free! We loved the short walk to the beach. Camp hosts are very nice and welcoming! They have outdoor sinks for doing your dishes and lots of doggie poop bag in the dog friendly zones. Horses came wondering through and saw lots of birds. Bring your bug spray! Can’t wait to come back next year!

Excellent Beaches, Camp Host was extremely friendly and helpful; they were a couple from Massachusetts running the I section. Super kid friendly with a very laid back atmosphere.

Beautiful Beaches
Great campground for being close to the beach. We were there October 2017 and it wasn't very full so it was really quiet. Kind of expensive for a dry camping spot ($44 I think) and more for an electric hookup, but super clean shower and bath houses which was nice. Saw horses and tons of horseshoe crabs on the beach. Careful if you have dogs, the beach is amazing but the "grass" in your campsite is full of pickers that get stuck in their feet if they go off the cement or beach. Would definitely stay longer next time!

Awesome!
Stayed in the bayside area, campsites are open all year. There are no hook ups, but there is a dump station conveniently located at the end of the loop. The B-loop is designated generator free so there's more peace and quiet. Rangers are very friendly and knowledgeable.
Campsites are convenient to the beach and there are several trails nearby. Wild horses are everywhere. Watch out for idiotic tourists who act as if they've never seen a horse before. A gaggle of 20 or so came trampling through my campsite as they stalked one of the poor beasts.
Bring insect repellent! Firewood can be purchased locally from Buck's about 7 miles up the mainland.
