We love coming up to this park for day hikes and kayaking, but this is the first time we have ever camped here. The park is fantastic and was the best place to bring our dogs tent camping for the first time. The call sites are large and spacious and there is so much to do at the park. They have hiking trails, kayaks for rent, and a nice camp store. We will definitely be back!

Group Sites are Nice
Stayed there June 7-9 with my small Scout troop. The campsite is HUGE! No on site shelter. The pit toilets are normal camp pit toilets, however a real lid over the holes would be nice.
Having the canoe/kayak rental on site is great. The water trail was an easy circuit for new paddlers. The scouts liked the pool. The camp store was well stocked and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Fun Place to Stay
Really nice park with lots of stuff to do in the park and nearby. We stayed in the Deer Run loop with electric. Sites are nice and flat. Lots of flat quiet roads for kids to ride bikes. Only about 30 minutes to Assateague or Ocean City if you want to go to the beach.

Retired
Here for the snow and cold weather event. Power stayed on and able to keep warm at 15o. Iced exit door over night so went out front class C door. Rangers by at 8am to plow and check on people. Beautiful area, nice flat sites for small to med size rigs. Only bathroom open in camp store when this cold but showers are hot. M-T 1/2 off with Maryland pass.
