This it a small campground. The owners are great and the campgrounds are clean. I would come back here in a minute

Tight Spaces, Sketchy Area

Getting into our spot in this parking lot that claims to be an RV park was tough enough, we have a 30 ft travel trailer. Our neighbor was 5feet from us, and they spilled sewage all over the ground...gross. The guy working in the office acted like I was bothering him when I just wanted info onparking downtown.

Well...I wouldn't stay here again

The place is just too small to maneuver a big rig. Hard to swing into drive. Couldn't extend awning completely we were so close to neighbors. Had to keep moving our car for others to come and go. Bathroom fixtures rusty. Washers and dryers dirty and didn't work well. Wasted lots of $$ there. Very loud from sirens, traffic, and railcars. Marla was very helpful with tourist stuff.

Stay Away

Dirty, smelly, sites flood when it rains, inhospitable, one trash can at end of park and stinks, bad area of town, far from downtown. Would not recommend.

Worked Great For Us

We stayed a week. City Bus stops across street, before paying, ask for "transfer ticket" and it's good for a couple of hours if you change busses or take a cable car. We got Sr Citizen rate 40 cents. The trip to French Quarter will take an hour, more or less. There are other ticket options, not just Sr Citizen rate. Glad to have our vehicle safe at campground. Campground wifi was great. There's some road noise, but it calms down 10 or 11 pm. Campground also offers shuttle.

Retired

Same as Eric with some additions. They helped me back my trailer in. Marla at the front desk very friendly and VERY helpful. This campground is in the city and has city noises such as trains and cars but seems to die down after 10 pm. Also has COX cable with a $40 deposit for a converter box, the $40 is returned when return of the box. Very convenient to downtown. Parking downtown resonable. I would stay here again.

First of all, sometimes it is difficult to get in contact with the manager over the phone, but once you do, she is very pleasant. The park is clean, the lots are small (mixed gravel and grass) and you are close to one another. There is 50/30 amp available, sewer and water hookups. There is an on site bathroom with showers (small, but clean) and laundry facility. The area is very secure requiring codes to get into the main gate after hours and codes for the bathrooms. WiFi is also available, there is a pool and a gazebo area. With Good Sam's membership it is $30 a night. Distance to downtown NOLA isn't far (approx 5 miles), Uber costing about $13 one way. There is a bus system and also a shuttle service you can take for $5 a person.
