Perfect Location
It’s amazing there is a RV resort this close to the top spots in New Orleans. It’s a 5-10 min walk to Bourbon Street. The park is well kept and very secure with a wall and gate around the grounds. There is a lot of noise outside but we didn’t have a problem sleeping with the roof ac’s humming.

Loud Thumping Music Past Stated Time
Whatever you do not book this place. Their rules state that quiet time is 10pm til 7am. Since before sunset my wife and I have been listening to very loud thumping of music. It is almost 11pm and it is only getting louder. One of our rv neighbors called the office and was told it was the owners of the resort. If you are smart, make reservations somewhere else.

Grass Cutting
Why would a place like this have the grass cut at 8am? Wait until 11am so people can sleep in. Absolutely ridiculous.

Nice And Clean
Really close and easy to walk to the french quarter. Maybe a litte more expensive but you don‘t need a cap or a shuttle. It is really clean. We had a good stay with our kids

Worth The Price
Worth every penny. Staff was friendly, gave us a map and wrote in restaurants and places to go with children. Walked with wife and 2 kids down to the French quarter and Bourbon Street. Walking distance to downtown. Pool and jacuzzi were great. 30 amp available. Clean and safe. Gated, no issues walking back around 7pm. Water, electric, sewer, cable TV.

LOCATION!
You can't beat the location. I like to walk, and this is the place to do it from. It's expensive, yes, but... Find a room in the French Quarter for that. Not happening. You're paying for location, and a small but PRISTINE park. I found this park to be lively, a little bit of a "younger" (40-50's) crowd, with super clean amenities. I extended my stay TWICE while I was there, because I couldn't get enough of this place. Pay the price if you want to be steps from the French Quarter. It's worth it. In 15 minutes, on foot, you can have already aquired beignets and an iced cafe au lait from Cafe du Monde and be enjoying it in Jackson square, with your new local art piece. $6-7 Uber to anywhere in the French Quarter, which I highly recommend using if you're partying or out late. The park is also directly next to both St Louis cemeteries!! One is open to the public and three blocks long (9am-3pm), and the other is open with a tour guide (Marie Laveau's tomb is inside the guided cemetery).

Intimidating
Too expensive for a military retiree. There is the Navy base close by for us. The security guard has no customer service skills or people skills if not for that might have considered it. Looked secure and clean but didn't match the price.

Rude Service People
Very curt and passive aggressive service people. Kind of nice and then cutthroat acting “we will not buzz you in so take a picture of the gate code.” Then acts super nice “if you want to book a tour book it with us”. Could not figure out how to book online from my I phone. At $105 a night the price is staggering. Limited competition I guess. It’s convenient but not that great if you have a car. It’s the only game in town really so until someone else steps in they have the only spot.

Spring Break '18
Nice resort. Clean. Well managed/maintained. Location can't be beaten. Just steps from the French Quarter. Felt very secure/safe even though we were right downtown. Noisy (but the park is literally 1 block from I-10).

Very Nice
It was expensive but perfect location to Bourbon Street. We stayed here January 2018 . Was only going to stay 2 nights but stayed 4 nights. It was a little intimidating driving to park with the homeless sleeping under the bridge. It is a gated park with block walls around it with spikes out the top. I felt very safe. It was very noisy. Fire trucks go out about every 10 minutes I think in this town. They had night security that would meet you at gate when you came in. Nice brick paver sites. No tables or fire rings. Very clean and staff was very friendly and helpful. They will book your excursion for you. Would stay again.

Not Worth The Money
In my opinion this park is way overpriced. It's nothing but a nice parking lot with RV hookups near the French Quarter. All sites are back-in. The utilities are well placed and work well. Channels on the cable are grainy. It is unbelievable that for the price they are charging that they don't provide wifi at the sites. The area seems safe in daylight, but I wouldn't walk to or from the park at night. Very noisy. I can't imagine staying here again.

Clean, Convenient And Central
Yes, it is expensive but value still there. 2 nights turned into 6 and we will be back. Other comments about Uber, noise and razor wire are correct. But the Lafitte Bike Trail is a across from the entrance and I biked a mile north, under I-10 and through a pretty community park to a Whole Foods. Also there was an Ace Hardware 1/2 mile south near a large police station. If you are intimidated by some situations I would not recommend but I enjoyed it. Met many nice and interesting campers, hard to be unhappy in the French Quarter! As to the people who work there I found them pleasant and helpful. It was our first RV trip and I found I was missing a plastic adapter for my sewer hose and the GM(?) quickly went through lost and found to help us. (Aforementioned Ace Hdw has RV supplies!) We were coming in late so I did call to verify directions with no real help but it is confusing to describe. In the end GPS was spot on. Recommend

Spot On Location
REALLY CLOSE to everything. So close you can see the grave yard next door, hear the over head freeway and the sirens going off at night. The RV park is mostly a paved lot, but the owners have spruced it up with brick pavers. Sites are level an the hook ups well maintained. I really like the park for stopping and going out to see the sights. Getting a Uber to and from the park is super easy and most of the tours pick up at the gate. We felt secure in the property, outside the gate was a bit intimidating to non residents. The supermarket to the south has closed and the property is dark at night and getting vandalized. Make sure to get cost to stay in writing, ours was different than quoted but wasn't going to argue over the difference. Staff is there to check you in and that is all. Don't expect direction or suggestion they don't much care for the conversation. Overall, I would stay again if I needed a close location to New Orleans.

Clean, Feels Safe, Friendly Staff
Andrea was super helpful with check in ,clear about cost, she also looked up dog friendly places for us to take our pup. We needed a power converter that they just so happened to have and didn't hesitate to find. In my opinion this camp is the only thing nice about New Orleans. Granted it is enclosed with razor wire walls, it's the only time we felt safe.

Good Location - Bad Service
Just as other reviews stated....0.5 miles from Bourbon St. May want to uber at night. Front desk girl was very rude and unaccommodating. As a business owner, I understand the value of first impressions...she is not up to the standards of this park and is hurting the business.

Excellent
Very well executed first rate facility. Clean with good power and water. Very nice folks. Plenty of room to maneuver my 40 footer. Feels secure inside a wall topped with razor wire. Don't walk to the Quarter past dark. Uber. I'll be back.

Great location. Clean beautiful park. Staff on duty 1/13 PM extremely rude and not helpful. She was totally inconvenienced by us. GPS in RV and RV mobile app is not correct. Connecting road GPS uses is no longer open. In order to be directed correctly must put in physical address. Turn in off Claiborne not Lafite as directed. Given cost would expect friendlier customer service. We are somewhat new to RV travel and until now we have been impressed with how friendly and helpful people have been until this woman.

Excellent RV Park
Very nice RV park, clean and secure. You can't beat it as far as being close to the French quarters in New Orleans. You can walk two blocks and you're there! Completely gated, nice showers, pool, and spa. Super friendly staff that was very informative and helpful. It's a little more expensive but if you stayed further away you would need to take a cab to get here because it would be hard to find parking in the French quarter. We would definitely stay here again.

Bait And Switch Pricing
Couldn't get them on the phone as we tried after hours on the way on Saturday evening for a one night stay, but upon arrival the gate was open and the night guard said there was room and advised us with our good Sam and platinum AAA RV the rate would be around 69.00 to 89.00 depending on the discount.. Upon checkout this morning, I was handed a bill for 143.69. As this was clearly nowhere near the quoted rate, in fact, DOUBLE what I was quoted last night by their representative, I was obviously taken back and clearly advised them of the quote I was provided. I was advised the manager is not available on the weekends and I would have to call tomorrow to see if they can adjust the rate, but as for now.. It's DOUBLE WHAT I WAS QUOTED upon my acceptance of the agreed rate. Be aware..

Can't Beat The Location.
What a well run RV park! Clean! And knowledgable woman at the desk. Nicole. She helped us with all our needs and concerns. We brought our dog so she recommended a pet service. It was so hot we opted to rent the electric car for 3 days. Wow! Great fun! The location is secure and safe! Great stop. I wasn't happy the wifi was out! But hey. There was plenty to keep me busy.
