2nd Visit
Actually returned here by mistake. We were here in 2018 and the mosquitoes were horrible. This visit was better. Mosquitoes weren't a problem Nice park. Had full hook up. Bathrooms were fine.
PS well before Ida. 8-10-21

Nice location being close to New Orleans. Lots of woods so bring bug spray for the mosquitoes. Didn't check out the bathrooms because there were warnings about them being infested with wasps. Overall a nice location that we would visit again.

Nice place to stay. Very quiet. A lot of space available. Close to NOLA.

Louisiana needs to spend some money on this little gem, could be so much more. Not for big rigs, short pads and narrow roads.
Overall a really nice place to stay, lots of space for kids to roam and the staff was awesome.

Nice Little Park
50 sites, none with sewer. Has dump station. Accommodates smaller rigs and tents. We are in 33 ft fifth wheel and I wouldn’t try anything larger. Camp road is narrow and we barely fit the truck on site when unhooked. Showers were older but clean and fullyfunctional. Hookups are at the back of sites. Power cord just reached and I needed to add a second water hose. Adjacent to wetlands so bring repellant. Mosquito population manageable most of the day but incredible at sunset. 40 minutes to French Quarter. I’d use the bus to beat the parking in NOLA. Rangers patrolled and we felt safe here.

Very clean. Great level sites. Easy in and out. Biting bugs almost killed me. Clean bathroom and laundry. Nice folks. Bayou bugs kept us in after bad rains but access to New Orleans was 16 miles.

Clean park, well maintained, excellent services..close proximity to downtown..near delicious local food. We visited in early November and weren't prepared for the mosquitos..NOT their fault...we will be returning for another visit.

Stayed there in the spring of 2015. Be aware of the weather. Some sites will flood given the right amount of rain. Plenty of mosquitos. Having said this, the place is small, well kept and clean. You are a 15 minute straight shot from the French Quarter. I will stay there again.
