Nice Campground, Restrooms Need Work
Nice campground, all sites have lake view. Lakeside is for boatlaunch and parking. Some trees shading some sites. Between lake and road, so some road noise. The restrooms and shower work, but they are showing their age. Since our site was first-come first-served but the self-pay has been removed, the camp host came around to collect our fee.

Beautiful Lake Spot
Had a great MDW stay here. Didn’t have reservations and most places were closed due to COVID so we lucked out finding this place late Friday night. Parked in a wide open first come first serve area until the morning when we could find an ideal spot.
This campground has reservable spots and a lot of first come first serve spots- it looked like the spots right on the water were first come first serve which is what we were able to get. So happy we did! We were able to pull our rv into one of the front spots right on the corner with beautiful views of the mountains across the lake. Lots of kids playing, riding bikes, etc so it’s a great place for families who want a place to access the lake and run free. We didn’t have a boat but a lots of people pulled up through the day to put their boat in the water and hang out. Mgmt kept to themself and didn’t seem like rules were hard core so there was some people still active at night which we didn’t mind. Definitely recommend!

Stayed several nights, never more than three other campers on the camp grounds. Saw cleaning crews every morning, cleaning the bathrooms. There was no camp host nor a place to leave payment for the stay. Very pleasurable quiet experience.
