Nice Place

Nice place, only complaint i have is the lame uncomfortable wristbands that they want you to wear day and night... And the full hook up spot me and my friend had were a little tight , no much room for the slide outs.... all utilities worked well including the cable... The river and c a small stream run rught next to and thru the campground!

Great location, near town but in the woods along the river. Scenery is awesome. Clean dog park and good accommodations.

Awesome Beach!

Took grand kid here. Great beach. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Will definitely be returning.

Rafting And Fishing

We had a great time here with our grandkids. No/few sewer hookups but everything else was great. We used a blueboy towards the end. Rafting out of Kernville was great fun and the kids floated and rafted in front of the park for hours. Fishing was fun/interesting but we got skunked. Other folks were catching though. Close to the store and town.

Incredible Stay!

We loved camping at KRS Camp James! Site 80 backed up to the creek that runs through the middle of the campground. It was the perfect spot to let our little kids play and cool off on a warm afternoon. We fished on the river, tubed and We swam all right at the campground. Within an hour drive we explored the Sequoia National forest and hiked Trail of 100 Giants. We will be returning annually!!!!

Very nice campground, trees, flowers and the Kern river out your back door! Nice camp sites, not to close and located for your privacy. Elected to stay an additional night to relax. I would recommend a fishing pole on your packing list before your trip here, nice 2 lb. trout fish this morning! Nice people that attend your every concern.

Ein schöner Campingplatz Direkt am Kern River der aus den Bergen kommt. Sehr nette Leute am Empfang. Auch mit Kids empfehlenswert. Im Nachts kühlt es gut ab so kann man ohne Aircondition schlafen. Erfrischung im Fluß einfach Super.
