I'm giving this campground 5 stars for the location, beach access and weather. The campground is old, but the paved spaces are leveled and clean. We were in site 115, which was long and wide enough to accommodate our 32 ft travel trailer with 3 slideouts and still had room for our 4 door, long bed Ram 2500. All of the sites here DO NOT have full hookups. Water access is available and is spread throughout the campsites. It is only for filling up your jugs, trailer or RV, not meant for any water hookups. There nearest place to dump your tanks is about 15 minutes away. We went to a 76 gas station and paid $7.50 to dump our tanks after 4 nights here. We have great cell service here. We have Xfinity/ Verizon. We didnt have any luck getting any TV signals though. We were fine with that. We had a great experience here for being our 1st exposure to "boondocking". We used a generator to power our trailer, but the battery did just fine to get us by. Can be noisy from train and freeway

Ranger Rick
We used to sleep at the point after hitchhiking and surfing and boogie boarding from Lompoc and ranger Rick would roust us in the middle of the night and ship us to Refugio SB. Somehow that was more appropriate than us sleeping in the bushes. Thanks Rick the Richard.

Hookups-None.
Drove here late in the day with hopes of getting hook ups, but there are none. This is a dry camping site. $35 for a nice paved spot with picnic table and fire pit and access to a bathroom. For just a paved spot in a parking lot with no amenities (table, fire pit) it's $25. The spot we stayed in was #126. Good view of the ocean and had a good Verizon signal. The cars passing on 101 is very evident. The walk to the ocean from this spot is probably a good mile down a paved road and a walk uphill on the way back.
