Great Central Location
CASH is preferred. You will be charged a lot more if using a card. Friendly staff. Nice level gravel sites. Great store. Incredible bathrooms. Nicest I've ever seen in any campground. Very pretty and spacious tent sites. Lots of cabins if that appeals to you. They are actively improving the grounds. Very well maintained. The only reason I give the 4 stars is there is nowhere to go on foot from the campgrounds. No trails or anything.

Disappointed. This obviously used to be a nice KOA. Park is now neglected and dirty. Grass is overgrown. RV spots unkept and muddy. Many utility boxes broken. Our site electricity went out in the middle of the night. The park was more costly in comparison to other parks we have been to recently that were clean and had better facilities. Too bad this park has been left to decline.

Nice
Used to be a KOA, not up to that standard anymore but still nice. Friendly, would stay again

Overpriced And Grumpy Staff
Extremely overpriced for a tent site. It was our only option as other campgrounds were full. Surprisingly quiet given the proximity to the highway. Man patrolling (presumably manager) told us to "control" our dog and to restrain her after she barked twice as he was approaching us. Immediately told us we would have to leave if there were issues with our dog. He did not welcome us, say hello, or make sure our stay was ok. Our dog was not doing anything wrong and was already tied up properly. We did not feel welcome at this campground.

Overnights
Don't let the entrance scare you away. We stayed overnight, it was full but quiet. Lots of individuals from out-of state staying there while working on local projects such as mills, roads and etc. cute cabins , dog friendly, has a dog park, pool and hot tub (both could use a cleaning... there was a lot of kids in them that day, clean showers, store will stocked, mini gold course, large chess and checker boards, lots to do. They have tent, RV pull thru and back up sites. The RV sites have full or partial hook ups. John checked me in, he was very nice. We would stay again

Nice For Overnight
This used to be a KOA, so it has some stuff for the kids to do... mini golf, nice playground, heated pool. It was quiet and very green. It's just outside of town, which was nice. Reasonably priced and the staff was nice.
