Over Night Stop
The park backs to 101, so there is some hwy noise. Park is clean and well managed. WiFi is usable, watched a rv repair video with regular pauses while waiting for download. During covid the check in had no human interactions. Perfect! Nice gravel path that followed the ell river. I would stay again.

Not a super majestic park with nature all around but definitely clean and well run. Good stop-over if you're moving through. Fairly priced with nice people. Right next to Best Western. Would definitely return.

We're almost 3 months into our 7 months of traveling the west coast and this is our 18th spot. Comparing it to all places we stopped at I would say it's definitely nice and clean. The pool and jacuzzi are not cleaned properly and could use some touching up. The pricing would make more sense if they did not have more than half of the park filled with "EXTRA long term" RV people who have decided to start a personal collection of junk outside their rv. There were dressers, recliners, bookcases and just plain junk just overflowing and in some cases surrounding many sites.
If you're an RV resort and you allow people to stay for extended periods of time there should be rules that should be followed regarding maintenance and full upkeep of your site.

Park does not trim trees or bushes back away from road. The overhead clearance is down to 6 feet.

Good For A Quick Stop
We stayed just the one night passing through. There was a car show the weekend we stayed, so the place was packed. There was some rumbling from the classic cars, but not too bad. Our site was clean, paved, level, and the laundry facilities were quite nice. Did the job for us.

Something Has Changed
This is a campground where you can tell it used to be very nice and well maintained but something has happened. We stayed for 5 nights over the Labor Day holiday weekend and even though the showers say they are closed for cleaning from 11-noon they were never cleaned during our stay. I even went in to check them out right after noon one day just to see if they were being cleaned. Add to this that the traffic noise is constant pretty much 24x7 (it is located between US 101 and a road to Fortuna that everyone must use), I would not recommend this campground unless you get a great deal or if you are in a pinch. For $50/night, I expect the showers to be clean. It's too bad because it is conveniently located to use as a base camp to see the redwoods.

We liked the site and amenities very well. Some truck noise during the day but quite at night.

We found this park on a road trip to Oregon. Just needed a quick place to pitch a tent and sleep over. We couldn't have asked for a better spot among a small grove of redwoods. The people were so helpful and nice, the facilities were very clean and it felt safe to be camped in a tent. The only downside was the road noise but it was quieter than we expected. Perfect spot for our overnighter. Our dogs were welcomed too!
