Lake Pleasant Regional Park
We stayed in the Desert Tortoise campground for four nights while we attended a few Spring training baseball games. Our loop did not have electric but others did if that's important. Most sites in this campground are right near the water making them attractive for campers with kids. Helpful park staff. A reasonable drive to Phoenix.

Herbicides!
Don't know about you, but I sure don't want herbicides sprayed for 30 minutes right across the camp road from our site. If you don't mind breathing poison and having your pets walking on poison - soaked ground, this place might be for you. Not for me. Won't be back.

Nice Park
We stayed here Oct 21 through 24, 2017. Cost $30 per night with electric and water. There are several campgrounds in the Lake Pleasant Regional Park complex, we stayed at Desert Tortoise Campground so my review will detail that campground. We were in spot #137 and all of the sites in that circle are very unlevel. Several RV's moved because of the leveling challenge. Majority of the sites in Desert Tortoise were very unlevel or had steep entrances to a somewhat level spot. All sites were a rock and dirt mixture. All sites had a covered picnic table. Bathrooms and showers were very clean. Verizon 4G with three to four bars. Marina nearby with a restuarant and store. Ice available at the park main entrance and was $3 per bag.We drove to all the campgrounds in the park and found Roadrunner Campground to be the best and this is where all the big rigs were parked. All the sites at Roadrunner were paved, level, and most had covered picnic tables. Sites are closer together at Roadrunner.

Beautiful park, Very Clean
This park is beautiful. We had a great hilltop view looking over the lake. It's very clean. And it had a great marina restaurant. Worth the money. Could have spent a few days here.
