Will not stay here due to absolutely no refund for any reason.

Nice But NO REFUNDS!
Over the past 2 years, my husband and I have stayed at Distant Drum multiple times without incident. The park is clean, conveniently located, dog friendly, and has level cement slabs.
As a frequent camper, I find that most every park is flexible. But not Distant Drum. They have a NO REFUND policy. Meaning if you pay for a stay but life happens (whether an illness, emergency, or a situation which requires you to leave early) you get NO REFUND of any quantity.
My husband and I got soaked for a few hundred dollars. But I think of all the travelers that come from across the country and pay for months of stay. What happens if they need to suddenly leave?
According to their policy, Distant Drum will give you no money back.
This strict policy only benefits the owners as they take your money and can then resell the spot to another traveler.
Beware!

Late arriving because of flats out of Flagstaff. Very helpful if helping to park in space. A little on a recline but easy to level very clean restrooms, and showers all in there own room. Pool looked clean. Super friendly staff. Would definitely stay again

Very Accommodating
We were delayed by weather which made us modify our stay. Then weather kept us an extra day. SUPER accommodating, friendly, helpful staff. Workout room, laundry, library and wonderful large private shower rooms.
Sedona close, but Old Town Cottonwood has a lot to offer. Great breweries, restaurants and shops. Many National Park areas as well.

Great Spot South Of Sedona
Stayed two weeks in January. Great spot, while 30 minutes south of Sedona not quite the views, but still beautiful. Friendly staff, great laundry facility. Check out Gary's RV mobile wash to clean your rig up. Great service to your pad (and since it doesn't rain in AZ, the shine stays longer). Pool and hot tub were great (and heated). If you can't get a reservation in Sedona, (like us), this was a great alternate location. Twentyish minutes to Sedona, and two hours to the Grand Canyon. Great Park, Views, Amenities & Staff
Very well operated and packed with amenities. Pool, hot tub, gym, community room & private baths & showers. Concrete pads are slightly unlevel but I'm nitpicking. Very friendly and engaging staff. Wish all parks were ran this way. Bonus, short walk to a casino if your looking for a little action.

Perfect Spot
We loved our 3 week stay at Distant Drums in early March. The RV park is very clean and spacious...we loved how convenient it was to so many of the area attractions. We'll definitely be back!

Awesome Stay!
This was a true resort! Very clean and orderly. Great pool and hot tub. Amazing staff! They were very friendly and even helped us with a low tire! Close enough to Sedona to go sight see and return in a timely manner. This is one you could definitely extend your stay at!

Thanksgiving
We met our kids here for Thanksgiving 2019. It was great. We took part in a pot luck dinner on the Tuesday before that was put on by the park staff. They provided the turkey and ham and we all contributed. Wonderful time. All the sites have a concrete pad with room to park the extra vehicle. They groom the sites constantly, pick up the trash at your site a couple times a day and the showers are free, luxurious and roomy. And the Cliff Castle Casino across the highway has the most unbelievable breakfast buffet ($8) and dinner buffet ($14) I’ve seen in many years. Highly recommend JT’s Bistro in town and the food truck parked just down from the casino on the way into Camp Verde (giant breakfast burritos all day for $3). Camp Verde is situated with easy access to Prescott, Sedona and Flagstaff. This is definitely the best RV park we have ever stayed in.

Very nice park. Everything clean and very well maintained. Hot tub wasn’t working when we got there, then worked for a few nights then didn’t our last night. They really need to get those heaters fixed.

Fantastic Place!
Organized, efficient, well kept up, offering many activity extras. Beautiful sites, updated pool and spa, and folks who genuinely seem to love their work. Maintenance is awesome, restaurants are nearby, 3 min van pickup to casino buffet and other eateries, and lots to see in the area. Easy drive to Sedona attractions. Super concrete pads require some effort to locate most level part. Best campground in 1 1/2 mo travel. Good Sam discount.

Very Nice
Very nice place. Staff is very helpful. Sites are clean and pretty level. 90% are cement a few dirt. Clean park. Sites are close together but not bad. Lose to Cottonwood and Sedona. Recommend, second time we stayed there. No charcoal grills or fires.

Stayed only one night but found the staff very accommodating. We arrived just after closing but we're taken care of promptly. Didn't even have to pay until next morning. Beautiful area, great casino, everything you want. Will be back for a longer stay.

Very clean at all times. Spaces paved but a little tight. WIFI does NOT work here no matter what type of booster you have. Cable TV works, but few stations to see. Highway and noise are ever present! They offer mobile power washing for RV’s, for a price. You get the privilege of hearing a very loud, noisy compressor for the power washer going at various times of the day. Headaches are the results unless you leave the park all day and go somewhere else. Quiet is NOT here.

Nice Park reasonably priced. $28. Elect.
Unfortunately, concrete on short sites # 150's were built without the aid of a level. Up 3 blocks in front, need 3 more. Oh well.
