Ruined By Bad Actors
Beautiful location … however, we were told that the city council voted on March 14, 2022 to close it to camping because of misuse from irresponsible people. It was one of our favorite sites. :-(

Great Little Place To Boondock!
Our first time being in a city park that ALLOWED overnight stays! Quiet, clean, right next to the river, with swimming and lots of places to park. You don’t have to check in or pay, just pull up and stay (3 night maximum.). No water or electric hookups so BYOUtilities.

Horrible Flood
After talking with locals, decided not to stay. Back in October 2018, in the night with no warning, the river flooded, washing away campers. People lost their lives. If you choose to camp there, it is very dangerous. It could happen again. Dont want to give it any stars.

Open for Business
Spots aren't clearly marked, but tons of room to pick a spot to post up. Very large park with playground, restrooms, group fire pits, frisbee golf, sand volleyball, basketball, public pool, and water access. Bring your own TP if you use the public restrooms!

Closed due to flood damage
Unfortunately looks like it got hit pretty bad in recent flooding, several overturned RVs and vehicles. Sad.

Great Free Place To Park!! 3 Day Limit
This wonderful little park is just off of I-10 and is next to a beautiful river. We where passing through and needed a place for the night at 2am. We rolled in and there was several other rv's already parkef, there was big and small but it still had plenty of places to park right next to the river. They limit how long you can park to 3 days. No camp host that we found. Great place 12/17/2017
