Beautiful Park
Wow, this park deserves more than a 5star review. Quiet peaceful, was treated and directed to our site, range free chickens. Right along the river which our dogs loved ( no leash by river only), price was great ( veteran discount). Highly recommend this park. Just can’t say enough about how nice our stay here has been. 03/27/2004

Probably one, if not the best RV park we have stayed in this century. You are greeted with a handful of coated pecans from a very friendly host, escorted to your site and there are free roaming chickens and goats that will visit you throughout your stay. The Llano river is on the northern perimeter and the pecans and eggs from the chickens, amongst other things are on sale at their tuck shop. Can’t say enough how much we enjoyed it.

We usually stay here on the way to and from somewhere else because it is a welcome relief of green after a long drive. One year we decided to stay a week just to check out what else might be doing. There are bike and hike options, river access both in PVRV or in town at the city park, and there’s pretty good barbecue, and stellar star-gazing. We also found the Caverns of Sonora, a great museum in Kerrville, and a little further afield, Enchanted Rock for a bit of a hike-climb ( out of Fredericksburg, which is a day’s visit in itself). I don’t have to repeat all of the gushes about open space, wildlife and farm life and superior management. The many other reviews covered all that but I will encourage a visit here. You will not be sorry.

We Will So Be Back
Update: same beautiful, quiet campground, same friendly hosts. They have added a petting/feeding zoo with chickens and goats that delights the little kids. They also sell their own free range eggs, and candied (I think) pecans. They may have discontinued their Wi-Fi because I couldn't find it and they didn't hand out a password.
2019: Gorgeous flat open area the size of a football field, in the middle of a dense pecan grove. Around 16 campsites along the perimeter plus a few pull thrus. Toilets/baths building is the sole structure. Sturdy, up to date utilities.
Quiet as Mother Nature. Beautiful herds of deer gambol through the campground, attracted by feeders. Llano River just a two minute stroll, shallow and inviting, where you can cool your dogs or just cool your "dogs." Extremely friendly hosts.
Nearby Junction is a pleasant little town with great BBQ.

A Wonderful Little RV Park
Stayed here for an overnight, Wes pleasantly surprised at the ease of off I10 and how homey it felt to us, chickens free ranging, yes you can buy the eggs. The Pecan Orchard as you drive in is very impressive, yes you can get raw or candied pecans. They have a wonderful catch and release river. The staff was amazing, gave us a tour of the park...oh and they have goats too. Very reasonable for a FHU. Will definitely return.

Best Little Rv Park Off I-10
What an awesome little rv park. I don’t think “tin can” should be able to write anything political on this site.
Not one flag but the American flag. You drive in, you see rows of pecan trees. The sites are nice and big, full hookups besides cable. There are deer and chickens on the property. Very quit, no road noise at all. The owners are so nice, they pull you in and ask if you need anything. I happen to be in a wheelchair and I was able to role all around the park, I even went into the restroom. Very clean and I was able to get around just fine. I will be back for a longer stay.

Trump Territory
First time in 5 years neighboring RV flying Trump flag. They think he won election, sure they were at insurrection. Most parks don’t allow political signs but we are in backwater Texas.
Other neighbor ran his diesel for an hour upon arrival. Friendliest people here. Hah!
Already over 90degrees in April.
Welcome to hell!

Beautiful Beautiful Beautiful
This place is amazing. It is incredibly clean, manicured & beautiful. We were met at the entrance & guided to our site. The gentleman was so nice & informative. He gave us the paperwork & candied pecans. They make them. Outstanding! They even have wood down rigger pads to use if you want. They have goats & chickens you can visit. The animals are very well cared for & you can purchase eggs. The river running along the back is clean & beautiful. Someone reviewing this park called it an Oasis. It is. They have a few snowbirds that are just the nicest people. Definitely will come back again.

Can't Wait To Come Back
We stayed here only one night and loved it, so we will be back. The staff was very friendly and they sold pecans, too! Easy access to the river, which I love! We will come back this summer and stay longer with family.

Very Nice
Nice and helpful owners
It's a small park which is very appealing to us. Easy in and out.
The sites are paved and level. The Llano river serves as their swimming pool and is very inviting. We will gladly be returning when we are passing through this area.

Very clean and nice. You like nature this is where it's at. No internet, I mean none. Can't deal with that. For those who are about getting away from it all, this is it. Beautiful.

BEST RV Park In 1900 Miles
Pecan Valley RV park was like a huge oasis to us! We had traveled from Oregon with our dog. This park is dog friendly. The owners, the Heidemans, are incredibly helpful, friendly, efficient and amazing. The park is manicured, clean, and peaceful. It was RV heaven to us.
Reply from owner/manager: Thank you so much Linda for your awesome review! We really enjoyed having you here at the farm and hope to see you again in your travels!

Watching the deer just outside the trailer . Definitely be back on our next trip thru . Easy pull thru sites and do have 50 amp service . Not to mention that the price is right.

Nice Park
Nice park! It’s quiet, calm and we watched a herd of 20 deer walk around the park at dusk. Wr had a pull through so we didn’t have to unhook the car off the 36 ft motorhome. A few miles off the interstate but easy access.

What A Great Place
Quite and peaceful. Bathrooms are clean and the showers work great, everything is well maintained. Spaces are spacious and you don't feel like your cramped in. The deer were out in the evening when we were there. Great service and very reasonably priced. Would loved to stay and relax a few days.

Oh Deer!
Clean sites and bathrooms/showers, great host, great owner. Very accommodating to long set rugs and toads. The host called in the morning to tell us he would not be there when we arrived, but to park in slot 6 which he had put a pylon up for us. When he did get there he didn’t pressure us to pay and allowed us to continue to mess around until we were done with what we were doing. We will be coming back here again for sure. Right next to a river. About 6 or 7pm, about 30 deer came strolling through the camp.
