Quiet And Huge
Very nice park - some spots are huge - all back in - we fit our 40' class A towing a u-haul car carrier in space 23 - had to straddle the curb with u-haul trailer but we still fit. Lots of people camping but spaces are so spread out that you never hear anyone. We showed up.on a Friday night with no reservation and there was still about 5 available spaces - Will be back great place

Nice
Nice decent park, no serious complaints. Plenty of space and easy to navigate, I parked my 53' of trailer and f350 in spot 27 no problem. No hot water for shower is my only complaint. :))

Love This Place
The park was devastated by a recent flood. The wildlife viewing is outstanding. There are bird blinds that attract local birds. Very nice staff and locals like having us spending our money there unlike Luling TX. That was our next stop on our trip. Luling is definitely a ”Locals Only” community. They don’t want you there.

Nice
This is a nice place for hiking, biking and viewing wildlife. The spots are ideal for smaller trailers and tent camping, but can accommodate larger motor homes, but 40’ is pushing it. I would call it a nice surprise in the middle of Texas. We just pulled in for an overnight stay but would come back for an extended period with friends. Give it a shot.

We LOVED this park. My goodness the location was beautiful and the bath house was clean. The view of the stars at night was unbelievable! Cannot beat for $20 a night. $5 per adult to enter park.

Great state park the spots are large and fairly easy to back in. No pull thru spots. The river is about a mile walk from the camp sites. Nicely maintained and clean.
