Ok But Chilowee Is Nicer (2019 Review)
Small, shaded, hot free showers, electric, no road noise. No trails from CG, have to drive to get anywhere. Dump station with water (had to go across street to tent area since not working spring 2019). Easy access (CG on LEFT or RVs, tent are on right off of 30). We went up to Chilowee which is larger and many sites nicer + trails and waterfall; steeper road climb but doable in larger rvs).

Nice and small.
We camped here two nights. The stream is nice, the campground is quite. The host we talked to was friendly. The bath house is in need of maintenance. The mens side had a clogged shower drain. We would camp here again though.

Nice No Frills
This is a no-frills & inexpensive ($20) yet lovely CG convenient to most Ocoee whitewater rafting companies. Our site #10, was along a lovely bubbling stream & only 2” off level. We were on asphalt but others were on small gravel. This CG has a heavy canopy of shade trees with only electric hookups-no water or sewer. We saw some conflicting info on that. You can fill up with water as u enter but it took a long time as water pressure was just so-so. There are also a few water spigots around the park. Site provided a wooden picnic table and metal Firepit/grill. Wife said the bathhouse was ‘ok’ with a single shower & 3 toilets for each sex.

Electricity only at the site I used...faucet near by...lots of shade trees...was cool at night...I thought the fee was a little high for this type of campground.....
