Lost Creek CG is very secluded but not what you would expect to find in the middle of nowhere. They have tent pads, bear proof trash cans and a vault toilet which is cleaned weekly. Five of the sites are on Big Lost Creek which is known for it's trout fishing. It is stocked weekly during the season. I did see one young bear a mile away but they are not abundant in this area. They know where the refuge is about 10 miles away. Ocoee River is about 15 miles away where the Olympics White Water Rafting was held. There is an abundance of rafting companies in the area. There is a major trail running through the camp and you see hikers every now and then. One direction it's about 3-4 miles to the Hiawassee River. The gravel road leading into camp is 7 miles long and it's smooth to a few bumpy spots. You can average about 15 mph or in a pickup maybe 30 if you know the curvy road. There is 6 spots that can fit travel trailers. Maybe 2 or 3 that can fit a full sized class A. The best thing, FREE
