Worth The Trip
Steep and curvy going in all 7 miles. Some of the locals will push you and pass you. If you are going the speed limit (30) you are going too fast. Loved the hikes and overlooks. We were in loop A and most campsites are paved, roomy and shaded. You have to get your water from the spigot around the camploop but it is good quality. You have to bring your wood since you cannot get it there. Beautiful area beautiful lil lake. June '21

Great CG
Stayed 2 nights on a weekday at loop b. Very quiet, nice hiking for all levels. Almost 30 min climb on a very narrow and steep road. Bathhouses are a little run down and in need of a remodel. Staff seemed nice. $15 with pass included 30a or 50a hookup. There is a Verizon antenna nearby so was able to stream videos at 4G speeds.

Great place to camp! This campground can accommodate everybody from tent campers to larger RVs and trailers. We got our 33' travel trailer in with no problem. Camp hosts are great too. A great place to relax with nicely spaced sites and very adequate facilities. Highly recommend. Just make sure you tow vehicle is up to the task of a 7 mile long uphill pull and the braking going back down.

Love This Place!
Pulled our 35' 5er up the hill without problem. Nice view of lake from overlooks along the road. Good spacing between sites, great hike to waterfall from campground.

Road to campground steep and windy but worth it when you get there. Secluded and shady campsites. Great hiking trails. 30 foot 5th wheel was tight trying to get in to site but once in was a very good size. Fall there is beautiful.
