We called ahead to stay the night and the woman on the phone was very friendly. We arrived around 1am and there were still a couple spots available. The negatives were the weird french fry/sewer smell and the sound of traffic and airplanes.

Nice quiet place at night. It can be a bit noisy during the day due to close proximity to the Carowinds park rides. They allow overnight parking. There are several good restaurants within walking distance.
