No Goodwill Here
I am an insurance adjuster passing through on my way to work the damage on the coast from Hurricane Florence. I called to ask the cost of stopping for a quick fill-up of my water tank, of which I offered to pay. Was told by the owner, they don't do that. To be able to fill my tank, I would need to pay their 3 night minimum charge. However, they were all booked at the moment. These folks must be yankee transplants, because no Southern hospitality here even if you want to pay for it. Skip this overpriced place and spend your hard earned money elsewhere.

Understand What you Are Getting
No frills campground. If you’re just traveling through, you’ll most likely be put in a gravel lot at the front of the park. All the other sites are for seasonal or full-time rentals and most are pretty run down. No bath or laundry facilities on site. Park is located right off a busy street in a not so great location of town. But with that said, I never felt unsafe and most people we saw were friendly. The owner was very friendly. Had everything we needed for our extended stay and no one bothered us.

Seen BETTER
Needed a place just for over night. Was not my choice but was tired. Too close to what I would call a shady part of Charrlotte. Police sirens throughout the night. Most are full time residents. Campers were old and rundown. The plus was the owner's were very nice and friendly. Carry. Also no facilities

Horrible
We needed a place for one night. Showed up with our small camper about 6:00. Someone told us where the resident manager's RV was, so we located it and knocked on the door. A man opened the door who was totally drunk and said the manager had left that morning and never came back. He said he didn't know if there were any openings, but that we could set up in a big gravel parking lot that was there. Most of the sites are permanent residents and many are pretty trashy. Also, the park is right off a busy street and there are some big dips coming off the road, so watch out about scraping. We had some damage to our hitch. Not a good experience.
