Very clean and quiet campground. There are a couple of nature trails. Three sites are full hook-up. Plenty of room, certainly more than most RV parks. Small lake is great for fishing, kayaking or paddle boats. Take a walk around the lake and find a spot to hang your hammock and relax. The Ranges are super nice and helpful!
Although the sites are paved, they are not level. Most just need a little adjustment. Several sites have great lake views, others are more private with wooded views. Bathhouse was clean. Showers have a dressing area, both with curtains.
While you are here, check out the museum and amphitheater.

Nice State Park
Lots of trees..hilly uneven sites...but worth the effort. Staff helpful and friendly. Busy on the weekends with lots of children running around..so drive carefully.

Okay Spot For The Night!
Site was paved but had a little slope. Water isn't swimmable. You could rent a row boat and fish. There's some hiking trails, other than that not much else you can do. Staff were friendly. Washrooms I would give it a 6 out of 10. Cellular internet was okay, got 2 bars on LTE. No over the air TV channels.

Really Nice Park
Several pull-thrus but mostly back in sites. All sites are in heavily wooded areas which makes backing in a little tricky for about 1/3 of the sites. All sites water & electric only. Dump station on exit. No trash cans around sites which was the only negative.

Pros... Good place to stay not far from Charlotte. Staff friendly and helpful. Cons... No sewer hook ups, but dump station is close. Access to campsites tricky in some spots for bigger rigs. Trees close to roadway... We camped here in a 37' 5th wheel.
