$$$$$
Too Pricey For Me $$$$$
Tent site, no frills, just a few sq-ft of weeds 30 ft from neighbor, over $50.00. Its old and falling apart. If i didn't need a place to stay that night, i would have kept driving. You should do so also. Keep driving.

Not Worth The Money
We stayed in a tent for a Friday to Sunday. The bathrooms are centrally located but are dirty. Met another RVer and they said they have been coming to this campground have seen this place go down hill over the past two years. We had a very large tree go down 20 yards from our tent at 0100. This almost caused a chain reaction to another dead tree that would have hit a camper with a small family. The tree did not fall but was listing 20 to 30 degrees, I helped the family move the camper.
All places are not really level. This is too bad but place is going down hill fast. For the money I would stay down the road. I paid 60 dollars a night with a tent, electrical and water on site.
Note: washer 2 dollars per load and dryer is 2 dollars per load.

The staff is great and helpful. The bathrooms and laundry need desperately to be updated. The grounds sites need to be leveled. They do not have enough adequate sites for large RV and try to put them in small sites.

Coming Here For 50 Years
Just popped in for a four day weekend. Parked in the B site area. Nice pull through site with gravel. It is a shaded site with full hookups. Yes it’s an older campground, but it’s clean and has a well stocked store. The staff are very friendly. We don’t use the bath houses so I can comment on their condition. Close to Gettysburg town center.

It Once Was
I think this campground was once a great place. It's huge. However the grounds are unkept, grass is mowed but only in the fields. Not in the camp sites. Bathhouses are old and poorly maintained.
I feel the owners need to put some serious money into this place. Even the seasonal sites look like shacks. Very old and overgrown. The people in the office are great, the pool area is clean, and given some tlc this place could be great again.

Not Great!
We camped here father's day weekend. We had a great site, but as we walked the campground, I was happy we were on top of the hill near the pirate ship playground. We noticed the Safari Area looked very unkept. Sites were so over grown! The area by the ball fields, the roads were terrible! I'd be afraid to drive our fifth wheel down some of those roads. Also, the pool was very overcrowded. For a campground this size they should have 2 pools. If more maintenance was being done, it would be a great place. Not sure we will return.

Not My Cup Of Tea
Way expensive for what I got. Did get water, sewer, and electricity. No cable tv, no wifi, had to go to the office (at least 300 yds away) to get connected. Price was about $70 per day. Site was not close to level. Wasn't able to get it side to side after raising 5". Sewer was 4 to 5" above ground; very difficult to drain hose. Pull through required driving 200' over pasture.
It was a nice facility pools, fish pond, mini golf, but on a cold rainy weekend no one used them.
I consider this campground a poor value.
