2nd Time
It's been 3 years from the last visit to beautiful Gettysburg Battle Field. The campground has added more full hookup sites. If they could just level them better it would receive 5 stars. Expensive.

CLOSEST TO THE NP
This is a BIG campground...with nice amenities for all types of campers & motorhomes. We chose a pull thru site in the back of the park. Most sites will require blocks to level because it's a hilly campground. The staff is friendly. They had scheduled activities while we were there {food trucks, band, crafts & games}. Definitely a family friendly atmosphere. Beautiful stables with rescued horses in the pasture, as well as stalls available for those who bring their own horses {trails begin at the campground}.

Expensive But Nice
Swimming pool & putt putt not complete. City water had a bad smell / taste. Very close to everything in Gettysburg. Good sites and hook ups. Lots of events and equestrian friendly.

Excellent Location
If you want to be near all the history of Gettysburg, this is the park. It’s literally right out of the driveway and you’re there. Campgrounds we’re nice gravel spots with firepits. We were backed up to the fishing pond and listened to the water fountain and horses. We did laundry which was fantastic. Great brand new commercial maxhines

We need a long pull thru for our 40 ft Class A. remium sites very high priced. Unable to use our Direct TV. No trees to block signal. Office said it should work. We called Direct TV and could not find a problem with our setup. Very close to everything in town. Staff very nice and friendly. Lots of activities for families.

Nice Spot... But Expensive
Nice spot. We spent one night traveling from Maine to Florida, and spent a little time seeing the historic sites. No one answered the phone (durring "open hours") before we arrived. We came in after hours and followed the late check in procedure. Fairly easy if you have a smart phone or internet connected device. The campground is clean and looks decently maintained. Nice playground for the kids to burn off energy. Sites are adequate and not difficult to setup level. Hook ups were good. A little expensive for what it is, but as others have said, it is in the heart of Gettysburg.

We had a good time. Very close to everything you’d want to do. Campground very nice. Family played mini golf. Had fun. In all can’t wait to go back.

Close To Gettysburg
Our pull through site was sufficiently large for a 36 ft unit with a tow vehicle. Very quite camp. Friendly staff. The water pressure was awesome as was the WiFi. There’s no cable TV! The campsite is VERY close to the Gettysburg battlefield. We were able to drive back and eat lunch in our RV in the middle of the tour. We did not check out the bath houses or public restrooms. Overall the camp was a bit overpriced considering there was no cable TV or beautiful views. Similar campgrounds we’ve stayed at we’re $20-$25 less than Artillery Ridge.

Nice campground with an excellent location to the battlefield. Could probably walk to the visitors center if desired. Has basketball, volleyball, mini golf, fishing pond, swimming pool, and cornhole.

Nice Campground
We stayed here during our visit to the battlefield for 2 nights.the sites were well-maintained and most were shaded in the front area of the campground. The bathhouses were a little run down , but clean depending on what time of day you went in. It is a walkable distance to the battlefield visitor center, but there are no sidewalks for most of it and the road is 2 lane, narrow shoulder, and busy-ish. We took an Uber to the visitor center because we had our 4 kids with us and did not tow a car.. We did end up walking back in the afternoon, though basically through people’s front yards. Uber’s are available, but not necessarily abundant. They have a camp store that has some necessities. You can also check out putters for the putt putt course on the grounds with a small deposit. Would stay there again if we were coming through.

Nice Stop
This was our first stop with our new camper. The office personnel are wonderful. They were all super nice and helpful. We came in while it was raining and they escorted us to our site.
This campground allows you to travel with your horses. They have stalls and paddocks on site.
We were not able to take full advantage of the campground but would definitely come here again.

Loved It
Two great night's rest after wandering all over the Gettysburg Battlefield. Good grassy spots. Quite reasonably priced for being in the heart of the national park.

Super RV park
Great park. Close (walking distance) to Gettysburg Natl Military Park. Reasonable price considering your practically in the park! Good facilities and parking spaces.

What a great place! We were originally going to Ocean City, but Hurricane Florence had other plans for us. We needed a place to stay and Artillery Ridge Campground welcomed us with no reservation. We will definitely be back.

Very Nice
Very nice and clean camp ground. Was in a 33’ class C. We didn’t have a tow vehicle but were able to walk down to the visitor center. Not sure I would do that with small kids, no shoulder for about 1/4 mile. Free putt putt and corn hole were a hit for my family.

Loved Our Stay
Weather had us switch our campground to this one last minute and we were so happy it did! We loved our stay here! Located in the heart of the battlefields, close to everything, friendly staff and plenty for the kids to do! They really enjoyed seeing the horses right next to the campground! Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Gettysburg.

Great Place
We stayed there 5 nights, and loved every minute of it. You can't get any closer to the battlefields. The people in the office are friendly and helpful. Our site was level with FHU. It was quiet even over Father's day weekend when the place was full with campers and horse-campers. They applied PA discount and Good Sam when PA was not valid (weekend) we would stay there again.

Airstreamers
Stayed here for two nights in site 57. It was easy to set up as site was level. The campground itself is fine though not particularly pretty and it’s location is very convenient to town. Since Gettysburg is a major tourist attraction, the campground pricing seemed reasonable. We would stay there again should we return to the area.

Great Campground
This is the closest campground to the historical sites. The office is staffed until 8pm and the staff is super friendly. It’s a Good Sam and Passport America campground. I called ahead for the reservation, but there was a couple checking in without one and staying for just one night. Our assigned site was impossible to level on, but the office let us switch, they were so nice about it. The campground is beautiful with gravel sites. There are laundry facilities. Plenty of activities in the warmer summer for kids. We would stay again!

Close To Attractions
A little pricy but super close to the battlefields so maybe worth it. We arrived during their after Halloween weekend and they had a ton of activities and the campers were all decorated. We managed to sneak into one of the last spots. Some of the spots are a little tight together but it didn't bother us too much. Worth it for the location mostly.

Busy Place
Was there during their run up to Halloween. Lots of activity but quite at night. Very convenient to the Battle Field. I had good satellite reception (No trees). It could get dusty from the gravel used in the roads but I had no issues as everyone seemed courteous of that situation. Staff was pleasent and helpful.

Gettysburg Rv Trip
This campground is amazingly close to the battlefield, soldiers cemetery and all the attractions you'd want to visit. We spent 3 nights here and spent a full day at the battlefield and a full day visiting the Eisenhower farm, Jennie Wades house, the Shrivers house, Rupp house, and even fit in lunch at the Dobbins house. The fact we were so close to everything, was the reason we could fit it all in. The campground itself is clean and well maintained. Kids can enjoy the pool, mini golf and playground. The camp store is large and well stocked with camping needs as well as souvenirs. The staff was friendly and helpful. We were happy we could bring our dogs, and found out there were stables, so you could bring your horse. The sites were close together, but we were not bothered by this. Most sites are pull thru, which we appreciated in our 33 foot travel trailer. If you want to make the most of your visit to Gettysburg, stay here.

Columbus Day Adventure
After a long days journey we arrived. Staff was very pleasant and took great care of us. There was a large Walnut Tree on our site. We had a lesson on Newton’s Theory. When the husk falls on your trailer it sounds like a bomb going off. Our site and my nephew’s site were located near the store, playground, miniature golf, bingo hall, Santas Workshop and restrooms. There weren’t a lot of frills here, but it was a friendly campground. You were minutes from the battlefield and downtown Gettysburg. Then go back to your site for some spectacular slo cooked chili, deviled egg salad and pulled chicken. A campfire featuring Jiffypop popcorn cooked by a master camper. As the Full Harvest Moon rises on the Eastern Horizon. Even packing in the remnants of Hurricane Nate could not dampen our spirits. After all its not where you camp that matters. It matters that you camp!

Nice place, close to things to do. If you're put out back, you are pretty far from amenities. Employees are nice, locals not so. Need to slow poeple down or use dust control out back, can be dusty when folks drive by at 20 mph. We were in site 413, wide open

Close To Battlefield & To Each other
I stayed in site 108 and was 20 feet away from next campsite. This site was not level. When I asked the front desk about touring the battlefield, they suggested a bus tour or purchasing DVD for self driving the battlefield. They did confirm that I could drive my 25 ft Class C around the battlefield for no charge following Auto Tour signs. The battlefield visitor center gave me a brochure that contained a description of the Auto Tour stops so I drove my RV through early in the morning when uncrowded and cooler.

Great Location
We really enjoyed being so close to the battle field. The staff was super! Pool was closed for the year but my kids enjoyed the arcade. As a family we played the new mini golf course multiple times which was really fun. The spaces were a bit close together and if you don't want to hear the kids at the playground or every single car coming and going don't use spaces 82,83 or 84. That's not a complaint just a heads up.

Located almost at the Battlefield. Friendly, clean and added touch of also a horse park. Nice little store. Would say only draw back was the rv spaces are very close together.
