Just Lovely
Beautiful grounds with hills and trees. Very well maintained. Easy drive to Gettysburg museum and battlefield. Great selection at Kennie’s grocery store nearby. Depending on the direction from which you travel, might want to call rather than use gps. We almost got stuck under a covered bridge on the way. Office staff gave us a safer route to leave. Would return.

Small But Great
We stayed at spot 45 (30 amp hook up). We came in late, and they helped me back into my spot. Small but nice. Natural stone fire pitt. Great playground, lots of outdoor games (life size chess, life size connect 4, Cornhole, etc. -all free) putt putt. Long nature trail up the cliff side. Would definitely come back

Don't go during biker week!
... but this is still a very nice KOA campground run by super friendly folks that do a great job helping campers and keeping the sites in order.
We were "lucky" to get one of the last sites but didn't realize this was part of biker week in Gettysburg and the noise really took away from the enjoyment of the KOA and the battlefield tours. The bikers themselves were nice enough but their loud toys ruin the setting for other folks. Our site (77) was dirt and gravel with quite a few boulders for atmosphere but since it was dry we didn't mind the dust. Our site was close to the neighbors but we had trees and rocks for buffers. The campground must have been here for some time because the tree canopy covered our road and we could watch the lightning bugs in the canopy.
The bath/shower facilities were very good and there were places to sit and to hang things in the shower stall.

Another great stay
Stayed here many times. Always a great experience. Yesterday it rained, only stayed one night, but physical improvements allowed most water to run off without pooling. Comfortable, shady spots. Friendly staff, clean facilities. Will be back. Great location.

Came from NJ to see battlefields. Clean and quiet campground . We rented the deluxe site with paved patio and patio table and chairs. Much more comfortable then a picnic table . Staff is great. Took you to site and helped with backing in.
