Our Maiden Voyage
This was our 1st trip, but we've been to CT, ME and MA since, and this was actually our favorite one so far. Maybe it was because it was later in the season but it was ideal. Easy pull through site. Great neighbors from Canada who fed us and kids Hot dogs when we were setting up. And Bloody Ceasars the following evening. Ausable Chasm is right down the road and Lake Champlain near by. At least 2 Brewpubs not far away. Easy to hard Adirondack hiking trails nearby. Mountain biking trails on site. WiFi was actually free. Showers were free
I'm probably not the most knowledgeable but I enjoyed it. Will likely go again.

Sites/roads are tight. When pulling a larger fifth wheel it can get tricky to navigate. Grass wasn’t cut and appeared it hadn’t been for at least a couple weeks, the black flies all over the long grass was ridiculous! We lost water one morning, back on after 6 hours. Then we lost power that same evening just at the dinner hour. After about 40 mins it was back on. Pool is small, small deck with one broken picnic table, no shade. No volleyball court as advertised, no laundry facility as advertised. For the price you pay you would think it would be nicer, especially as a tourist attraction. The park camp store was a joke, didn’t have much of anything. The area is beautiful, it was just this park however there are other parks in area that may be worth checking out. One plus is if you go to the Chasm, show your receipt, you save $2 per night you are booked per person. But still probably not worth all the aggravation at the park.

Tell the truth
Checked online $37, got to the check-in clerk $41.95 our the door questioned the representative and said the fee goes to bookings agency so they don’t get overbooked ( place in not close to capacity). Put us in a 1980’s site with 30 amps with a screw in fuse that blew after about 20 minutes in the rain. Good maintenance girl got us back up and running. A few more establishments around, do yourself a favor and try them.

Nice
Quiet, clean, spacious campground.
Close to Burlington VT ferry and other local tourist attractions. Nice pool.
Careful, this campsite location is shown incorrectly on map, Its actually 3 min further north.
