Have been going to this park for many years and never disappointed. The drive is over 100 miles but worth it. There is always something to do while staying there, wether it's just camping or visiting the many towns that offer a tremendous amount of activities. All of the people that are there are great, from the park staff to the wood yard. Bring your camera, there is always something to get a great photo of. I understand that state funding isn't always enough to keep a full staff of employees, but they do a great job every time I'm there.

Needs Some Help...
Everyone said this was a must-do campground. Lots of area and enjoyed our time there but the bathroom and shower areas weren’t cleaned for 3 days while we were there. Finally saw a young man cleaning on the 4th day and he told me he was “off” for a few days! (and no one to cover for him apparently) Also said that they used to have 20 people on the cleaning crew and that it was now down to 4! Nice beach area and lots to explore... no water or sewer on site... and pretty pricey

Best Staff Ever!!
I made a mistake on my reservation dates and the staff worked to find us a site for our early arrival and refund the day I didn't need on the back end. Some of the showers need an update and the RV sites are a tiny bit cramped; otherwise it would have been a 5*

Gorgeous State Park
This park has it all...bike, hike, trails, views, beach. It was a bit pricey for out of state rates...WI park pass plus out of state camping fee. However, I would definitely camp here again.
