This Is Not A Campground

This is a sanctuary. If you're looking for peace and quiet there are few other places at this level. Stop reading the reviews and make a reservation!

Clean and Safe But

This campground is very organized and safe. The 2 bathrooms have showers and flushables and are very clean. The sites were a little too close together for my taste. You can hear and see all your neighbors too well. Another thing we didn't like was that they require masks in their office which I think is ridiculous in a campground. It's more for families doing a glamping trip than for rustic campground experience.

We loved this campground. The office staff were very helpful at check in, and later on giving us information on local trails and things to do. The sights are large, fairly level, and spread out with plenty of trees in between for privacy. There are nice fire rings with a grill, picnic table, and crushed gravel surface. The bathrooms and showers were clean. There is a comfortable looking rec room with a pool table but we didn’t use it. The campground was peaceful, and got quiet before 10 every night. There is no wifi at the individual sites. I found it sketchy at the office on one attempt, but I didn’t ask the staff about it. Would absolutely return.

Love This Campground

This campground is definitely one of my favorites!!! The camping spots are designed like little alcoves, give you privacy. The playground/huge sandbox is amazing. Our 5 year old loved it. Bathrooms and showers are clean. Staff is super nice and door county simply amazing. We will definitely camp here again!

We stayed here with our 5th Wheel 3 times in 12 months because it is such a great campground! The sites are wonderfully set into this beautiful property so you have nice privacy in your site. We can’t say enough about the people in the office - so friendly and helpful! One of our very favorite campgrounds.

Seasoned Camper

I stumbled upon this campground and what a fabulous place it is! I have stayed in campgrounds in both my RV and in tents all over the country and this is probably the nicest campground I have been to. Not only is it extremely clean and well cared for but, each site was designed with forethought and individuality. It has a rustic and secluded feel but with first class amenities. And, the Door County peninsula's charm and quaintness reminds me of New England. This campground is highly recommended!
