Beautiful And Quiet

Very pretty and quiet campground. Nothing fancy, great sites (just not too level front to back) very close to the river for fishing and swimming. Facilities seem to be maintained by a DIY person with a shoestring budget so the showers are interesting to operate at best and the electrical looks a little sketchy. No frills just a nice campground with water, sewer, and up to 50 amp power (30 amp rv plug and 20 amp standard outlet).

Quiet Retreat

Nice campground with big sites. Plenty of space. Some sites are reservable, some are first come first served. Electric on site, no water. We got a FCFS site. Didn’t check the website so only found out after arrival that shower house was out of order due to drought. Pit toilets were open. Staff were friendly.

Very Nice.

Lovely camp sites amidst rhodadendron bushes. Many convenient out houses throughout campground. Dog friendly. Shower area clean. Very convenient to Elkin. We stayed on a weeknight and it was nice and quiet. Hosts helpful. Firewood was dry!
