Careful of park website directions!!! Took us under bridge with only 13’4” clearance - can’t believe we still have AC units!
Nice park. No water view, but hiking trails to it.

Very Nice Campground
Came in the fall, lots of beautiful leaves. Nice well marked trails. Clean rest rooms. Stayed on site 71 and 60, full hook ups. Lots of room and site level. This play must be hopping in the summer, they have an awesome water park! We will be back.

Great Park
Well maintained, very close to DC. Sites seem to vary in quality. Main complaint was the layout of the utilities. The sewer connection was well away from the water and electric. Needed to use two drain pipes. No cable but close enough to DC to get plenty of TV channels. Would stay here again.

Wonderful park
Very spacious and lots of woods for our dogs to run around. Went down to the water a few times and enjoyed the sunrise one morning. Everybody was very friendly and we ended up staying 4 extra nights! Laundry is $2 per load and bathroom showers and nice and clean!

Great Place
This was a great place to stay! Close to all D.C. has to offer while still bring in the woods. Friendly staff, well maintained, great park. I would stay here again. Best to go in the summer so you can take advantage if the water park and water sports, but it was still a great fall getaway.

Nice!
Lot 15 was perfect for our family. We had full eyes on the playground so the kids could just wander over when they wanted. Some of the sites are uneven abs a little smaller. The camp store is nice , open 8a-8p. They had turtles and a snake that the kids enjoyed. The yellow loop walking trail was great for our little ones. On lot 15 we parked our hybrid camper and our friends had room to set up a tent as well.

Nice Campground
The sites are gravel but spacious. The are is hilly so some have a slight tilt to overcome. The comfort stations and camp store are great. The walking trails are plentiful and may be a bit much for those not used to a little exercise. You can't see the water from any of the sites but the wooded view is nice. The inner play are is great for kids and it's just a short walk or drive to Pirate's Cove, a super nice pool for the kids, it's really a added bonus if you like the pool. We thought the staff at the front office were great too. All in all one of the nicest regional parks we have stayed.
