Hey, It’s Terlingua
Enough said in subject line…..excellent location to all parts of this area. Electricity, water, and sewer worked great….If you expect trees, grass, pools, tennis courts, go elsewhere! You are in the wrong part of Texas.

Probably The Best In Town.
This desert RV Park looks pretty stark if you’re from Philadelphia, but it’s actually very nice. People are working all the time keeping the trees watered, the sites clean and general upkeep. Make sure you bring everything you need as there are only tv park stores for 50 miles. The store at this place had a limited variety is stuff, but was well stocked. The laundry is closed on Monday and Tuesday, but they don’t tell you up front. The staff was very friendly. If we ever go back to Big Bend NP, we would definitely stay again.

Stayed a couple of nights but left early due to roaming and barking dogs that no one cleans up after. They gave us one of the overflow sites in the back which was full of dog “waste” piles. The overflow sites are basically in an old junk yard behind the RV park. We requested to be moved up front to any one of a number of open sites, but owner always told us they were taken even though they remained empty during our entire stay - so we just left. Can not recommend until they clean out the junkyard, do something about the dog mess, and generally become more responsive and business like in dealing with customers.

Very Basic
This is a park run on a shoe string. When staff is around they are pleasant. You don’t see them often but I think they live somewhere in the back. It has every thing we needed and a good place to land to venture out on day trips

What? Wait?
Beautiful setting. Close to everything. Nice roomy sites, nice hook-ups, but ... no one to contact when the water doesn’t work! No one to contact when the internet needs resetting. No one to contact when the laundry room, showers and rest rooms are locked up. No one to contact when its time to pay. No one to contact. Maybe that’s why there are only two permanent campers and us here. ( RV parks down down the road have many campers, and one is FULL ). We won’t recommend this RV Park to you.
My Rating Star System
1. Stay if you must . . . 2. Just below the average we’ve seen, but good enough; 3. Nice, above average, clean; 4. Very good, super clean, great service; 5. Exceptional, nothing better

Never Again
Dogs freely roaming around. There is a difference between rustic and a dump. Do yourself a favor and go on down the road to Lajitas and stay at the Maverick RV place. Drove to Lajitas n had lunch and noticed this nice RV place that’s next door RV with level sites that I wish we had found 1st instead of this place

Don't Do It
Wholly unimpressed! Govt shutdown had the park closed, so we had to find other accommodations. This place has just enough meager facilities to call it an RV park, as opposed to a dirt lot. Too many broken down RVs, no one seems to pick up after their dogs, "roads" and sites rutted, ...I could go on.
All in all, I wish we could have found a place to boondock.
There's a new place in the area. Right outside the park entrance. Just opened Oct2018. Looked a lot nicer. https://www.paisanovillagervparkandinn.com/

$32
No Thanks
Stayed 3 nights while hiking in Big Bend National Park. I would not stay here again. Of the 3 bathroom/showers two stools were stopped up and the third had no light. The daily rate was posted at $28 but was charged $32. It would have been overpriced at either price. $20 would have been fair.
The only redeeming factor was the night sky.

Park Camping Full
But this is a fine place to wait until tomorrow. VERY clean. They answered the phone fast when I called a few hours out and made sure I had a site waiting. Hot and very dry, but still inviting, affordable, and pleasant.
$28 for full hookup.
All pull through sites on desert floor gravel. Landscaped with a few desert plants. Good tasting water, too.
They deserve the full five stars.

Good Place To Stay
This is a great economical park staffed by good folks. Convenient to the fun in Big Bend national park as well as the night life in Terlingua.
