Buffalo Lake WMA

We came here for an overnight stop and ended up staying 2 days. Camping is $2 or free with America the Beautiful Pass. Sites are level. Several vault type toilets and no water so be prepared when you arrive. Lake is currently dry but worth a visit here. Only one other camper here. Beautiful place to see the “super” moon. We will definitely stay here again when traveling through. Ranger was welcoming and informative about the area.

Decent Dry Camp

Clean well kept but not really any privacy between sites. Very quiet and beautiful.
