Great place. Lots of shade large trees. Pleasant arrival always. Escorted to lot and very friendly.

It’s Fine For A Week

The park host led us over to our site in a golf cart. We are staying a week. There is WiFi but very weak and slow at our spot #77 . You can pay for a little stronger signal for 10 a week but not worth it. Lots of great shopping nearby and yes it is mixed , park models, small single wides and RV’s . Laundry, and showers, I have not checked them out yet. Military discount or Good Sam. $50 a night, $250 a week. $425.00 a month. Close spaces. We were given a 50 amp site. No issues so far. Again the hosts were nice. One of the neighbors welcomed us and told us about a great cafe nearby. I plan to write another review later on in the week after I check out the facilities. ,,,,,edit… The laundry room is nice and 1.50 in quarters will get a load going. The park is on well water. Traffic is horrible. Don’t be on the road before 9 am and from 3pm -6pm lots of road construction.

Reservations Smeservations

Made a phone reservation with this RV park roughly 10 days or less before our arrival date. I was given a site #(2) for a pull through. The reservation person directed me to put “site#2” on all my incoming mail. We arrived and were told there were no pull through sites. They drummed up some make shift “pull through” site off an alley. It took three men to direct my husband into the site What good is a reservation if you don’t get what you expect? We’re campers-just our preference-so we don’t like the long term look and feel of RV parks. Logistics landed us here. If you like trailer parks, I’m sure this is nice place. Just be aware you may not get what you reserved. If you want cable you need to pick up a digital box for a $100 deposit.

Retired

We spent two weeks at Texas 281. Nice older park with full hookups but no cable. We have a portable satellite so we were able to get TV. WiFi ok for email but very slow. Nice folks running the place and plenty space to walk. Good grass and plenty of shade trees. Stayed in our 40ft / 5th wheel. Close to restaurants, gas and grocery.
