Reservations Smeservations

Made a phone reservation with this RV park roughly 10 days or less before our arrival date. I was given a site #(2) for a pull through. The reservation person directed me to put “site#2” on all my incoming mail. We arrived and were told there were no pull through sites. They drummed up some make shift “pull through” site off an alley. It took three men to direct my husband into the site What good is a reservation if you don’t get what you expect? We’re campers-just our preference-so we don’t like the long term look and feel of RV parks. Logistics landed us here. If you like trailer parks, I’m sure this is nice place. Just be aware you may not get what you reserved. If you want cable you need to pick up a digital box for a $100 deposit.

We spent two weeks at Texas 281. Nice older park with full hookups but no cable. We have a portable satellite so we were able to get TV. WiFi ok for email but very slow. Nice folks running the place and plenty space to walk. Good grass and plenty of shade trees. Stayed in our 40ft / 5th wheel. Close to restaurants, gas and grocery.
